amen! Do you know how hard it was for me to find DC subbed before I came here? Man, it was a battle! A war I tell you! I became frustrated. You better be glad somebody cares enough to give you subbed episodes FOR FREE. Subbed at all, for that matter. Go to any site, you will not find it. you'll find funimation's version....the incomplete, and lame version. Appreciate the greatness of DCTP because actually they subbed a lot of episodes that were hard to find initially. And they did a lot of work. (I tried subbing once....disaster.Kor wrote:Even though Ginrei is probably joking, why shouldn't hey play favorites? They are the ones who sub the episodes after all. They can sub whatever episode they want.KaitoKid0 wrote:ah ha! *shaking my head* tssk tssk..you guys shouldn't play favorites its not fair to the people who like them . like how long is this going to take i bet you guys are probably only concentrating on those episodes like 5 minutes every 5 months -.-GinRei wrote: DCTP doesn't hate Haibara. We hate the Detective Boys, and she just happens to be a casualty by proximity.
However they ask from time to time what episode we want them to sub next.
And why are you complaining? You don't like to wait? Then sub them yourself. You can't? Well then, you have to wait. even 5 minutes every 5 months is 5 minutes every 5 months too much because they don't have to sub them at all. They are nice people though, and they sub the episodes in their free time. let me repeat. in their free time.
If it takes them some time then guess what. They either have better things to do or other things that comes first before subbing an anime or maybe they just don't feel like it.
If you want to see Haibara so much in the other cases, then read the missing cases in the manga.

Looks like we're going to need Policeman Jd- here... eventually.
Anyways, I'm sure a lot of people were tired of explaining that DCTP is doing it for free.
So, why not lock this thread?

Police Bobby Jd- is on the beat.
This topic shall not be closed, but instead... Shift its focus to birthday cakes!

I don't even know what the idea is for this one, but it does make my want to eat it. This is the goal of all cakes--to be eaten. It is their sole mission. Like the thing that has to get eaten by a heron to finish its life cycle.
(Warning: Any posts talking about "Haibara," "DCTP," and "DCTP hating Haibara" will be removed for straying way off topic. And yes, this new topic still belongs in general.)

Why limit it to birthday cakes? Why not include all kinds of cake?Jd- wrote:This topic shall not be closed, but instead... Shift its focus to birthday cakes!
Talking about cake, maybe I should make one tomorrow.

I see your challenge to non-specify this topic and raise you the challenge of finding a panda cake. The battle... it is on.Huty wrote:Why limit it to birthday cakes? Why not include all kinds of cake?Jd- wrote:This topic shall not be closed, but instead... Shift its focus to birthday cakes!

I agree, there should be more cakes in Detective Conan.
And not as a murder weapon for a change .

Assuming you’re talking about a red panda cake, then I haven’t found one so far. I only saw monochrome panda cake.Jd- wrote: I see your challenge to non-specify this topic and raise you the challenge of finding a panda cake. The battle... it is on.![]()
Maybe I’ll make one once I stop being lazy, different chocolate should work well for colouring.

Re: DCTP hates haibara!!!!
here is a little question about birthdays. In Israel the number of candles on a birthday cake is x number you lived and another one for the next year. Is this taken from the western culture or is it just another israeli/jewish thing?

Re: DCTP loves haibara (and cakes even more)!!!!
Well, in most of western culture (as far as I know) the number of candles on a birthday cake is the number of years you have lived. So, one year after you're born, you get a cake with one candle. Are you saying that in Israel your first birthday cake has two candles?Kor wrote: here is a little question about birthdays.
