Just in case anyone didn't notice by my previous two posts: I like that pairing and support it.

Of course it will not happen in the Manga, or at least not until the very end of the Manga. This pairing requires time for both to grow older and time is frozen in the DC universe for some reason - 14 years passed and they are still in the 1st grade.  ;D   Still... I consider it as possible that they will end together.
I think they would match up quite nicely. I don't like pairings that clash too much, like Eri x Kogoro (They might have their cute moments too... but most of the time it must feel horible for Ran that her parents are so different and don't get along well with each other). But - at least in my oppinion - Ai and Mitsuhiko have similar interests and ideals. And Mitsuhiko is good in avoiding conflicts - if something goes against Ai's desire for security (like investigation in a case; or following the trail of a certain crime syndicate) - he is more likely to stop instead of risking his and her live.
The pairing itself might be a bit boring... but the way until the pairing is possible is very interesting. [At least to me]

She won't quite be a normal 18 year-old for having been alive nearly 30 years, but she'll be more like a normal 18 year-old than a normal 30 year-old. In this way, she and Mitsuhiko will eventually be same age, physically and mentally.

Did the "10 years pass" OVA (#9?) address this at all? I haven't seen it.

Not at all. Ai was... well, her personality didn't change at all from what could be see in the few minutes she appeared in. But at least she was still together with the Detective Boys.

although I should have made it clear that by I thought it would be horrible and wouldn't happen is because I can't imagine Gosho doing this. Way too creative for an official Gosho pairing.  :P

Disagree on both points. I know everyone likes to compare Ai to Emerald(?) from Yaiba but people forget that Ai has something Emerald didn't have, Akai. Yeah, as of now he's dead but until it's 100% confirmed, chances are Akai won't let her die since he already feels guilt for causing Akemi's death. Even if it means taking the bullet himself.
I also thought the same on the second point until a quickly realized that Shiho could get around prosecution easily by the FBI stating she was an informant for them. This doesn't give her full immunity especially since the FBI has no jurisdiction in Japan but probably gets her off with a slap on the wrist at most.

Also if she does decided to become Shiho again, she doesn't have to stay at Agasa's house. She can legally claim the house her father lent to his friend for his business...if they are even still using it. So that kinda adds to the possibility that it isn't guaranteed she would stay Ai in the end.

Wow!  I'm amazed at how much opposition there is to this pairing!!  Especially since it's been hinted at for quite a while in the series. 

There have been hints but there have been hints of ConanxAyumi and that's what AixMitsuko is, a reverse ConanxAyumi. Chances of either happening is extremely low.

I can't support AixMitsuko because that would make me a hypocrite. . My main argument against ShinichixRan is that after the love fades their differences will lead them into ErixKogoro and the same applies to AixMitsuko if it even gets off the ground. What they really need is some spice, Ai should tell Ayumi she likes Conan and they should have an evil fight for him.

another opinion : i think one  reason gosho made mitshikou like haibara is because ,  well its rumored that mitshikou voice actress suggested it , but i think its because each girl in dc has someone that likes her so it wouldnt be fair to haibara if she hadnt when all the other girls in DC do ,like :

This Crayon artist places a lot of detail in Haibara's eyes..but who can blame him since Haibara does have the sexiest eyes in Anime/Manga.

This is the way I see it.

If Shinichi and Ran do end up together. (And I think there is a high possibility.) Who would poor Ai be with?
Both Genta and Mitsuhiko like Ayumi, but Ayumi can only like one of them. (If she even ends up liking either of them.) So I think that most logically Ayumi would like Genta, because she is always having to take care of him. (Even though I hate Genta's guts.) That would leave Mitsuhiko and Ai.
I really don't want to have to throw them together through, but Mitsuhiko does also have a crush on Haibara and he is smarter then Genta... I guess what I’m really trying to say is...

I love his pictures, he can draw them so good. Too bad that he draws so rarely and seems to prefer the "standard" pairings...
He has some nice Mitsuhiko x Ai though... better than the one you showed. (I like the one with the pink bunny)

As I said, his pictures are really good and he is drawing a lot of different DC characters. So take a look yourself, even if you don't like MitsuxAi. (And remember, if the artist asks you not to distribute his work on other websites... you should listen to him)

I don't mind seeing Ai with anyone, but I would prefere her being with someone who's as mature as her.  Someone up to speed emotionally.
