For me, "Which is the better pairing (that´s what I call it)?" refers more to "Which is the better relantionship?" than "Which will become canon?". The latter is pretty pointless, since we all know what it will be in the end.
But my vote would go for AiCon (again, that´s what I call it ), because I found their interactions hilarious, witty and just plain awesome. It´s a really interesting and unique pairing and also well developed.

Well Kazuha DID suspect this of being the case at first but just confused who Kudo was .
As for this topic imploding, everyone seems to be taking it with a sense a humor, so I don't see that happening.
And James nice avatar...bit creepy as it implies (to me) that Haibara has multiple personalities, but nice.

for me it's more ai/con!shinran is good but not enough for me co/ai is the only couple which really touched me !it's only my opinion don't hate me for that most of the couple are between childhood friend.its not really reaslistic for me. i know that it will never happen but anyway i love them!even if they stay very close friends it's good for me ,their interactions are never boring !!!but there is an other topic about that so i don't want to argue more!
