Well the ratings during the two previous weeks were already quite mediocre. Sure they were remasters but that usually doesn't affect ratings.

Episode 768: Haibara Ai kidnapping case.

This case is the perfect example of why 1 episode AOs tend to suck. You actually have a lot of really cool ideas for a case and a really clever alibi trick and you just rush through it all as soon as possible. When you go this quickly, especially the way done here, the second half turned into explaining a case that happened rather than it even feeling like it's the case in the anime we're watching. It was like a summary. I mean, at least it wasn't boring, but it could've been really good if it was twice as long.

Episode 769: The Troublesome Emergency Patient

I like how this starts with Mitsuhiko reminding Genta that the thing he likes is eel. Like even the characters just assume this is all he says.

And now Ayumi gets to be kidnapped one apparently!

Genta thinking this was somehow Ayumi's dad made me chuckle, I have to admit.

Taxi driver waking up to see almost zombie looking guy is also pretty funny.

Kido? LIKE KAITO KIDO?! (no)

Otherwise, this case has the same problem. I just would've liked it more if they had more time to expand it instead of having it be only 20 or so minutes.

Ok, I liked episode 742, mostly because it wasn't annoying. It was a nice little episode where nothing happened. Sure that camera thing led to nothing, but other than that, not too bad...

Yeah, it had some funny moments too. I also liked the concept of doing a loose epilogue to a movie in the form of an AO with the movie characters appearing.
Poor Sanada, though. The dude can't catch a break.

But it looks like even with Higo and Hideo, Japan pretty much failed at the WC. So much for Conan's and Haibara's idols XD

Am I missing something? I'm sure Conan never said anything about Hideo being his idol.

Well, yes, but Kor only mentioned Conan and Haibara along with Higo and Hideo. Since Haibara's idol is Higo, he implied Hideo is Conan's idol.

Did anyone find this episode to be enjoyable? Normally I enjoy a good portion of "filler" and the last few Movie pre-stories, or Magic Files, but I found 774 to be absolutely bland.

This episode was.... kind of different thing than what Conan usually faces. I'm not sure if I liked it, though.
