True ^. But I'm also really looking for a special for this one since I was disappointed that the Bell-Train isn't. But even if it wasn't, I don't think it'll take 6-7 episodes that's too much no matter how you look at it.

Its build up in same way as M.T so it´s going to be atleast 6 episodes... I think this being reduced to 4 instead of 5 is a special occasion

so most likely it would just have the 2 starting episodes and 5 for the main one... it takes up entire volume and chapter from next and would be 2½ hour episode too for non-main storyline related case I seriously doubt they are going to do that

But the case is really good in itself the flaw with it never showing them find the guys head doesnt matter much overall and would be the best case of 2013 if it was a special... I think its just going to be boring if it was dragged out and i doubt they will put attention to the OST. Execution and budget because its not about the BO which would suck too much to imagine

Then again there are alot good moments so it would still be better than tiring AOs one after another now that we´re not too close to the manga

Yes you do have a point there, the only 2 times there was a 2.5hrs special were both BO related, I also do agree that the case would lose much of it's intensity if it wasn't a special, we have nothing to do but hope, there's also a really small yet possible possibility, that the case would be similar to the Furinkazan case, a normal episode then a special or something similar, though it's highly improbable.

so many years ago when I used to buy the volumes I remember at summer night reading the "Death Island" case and the feeling of suspense and all that was just ridicilous I can still almost feel it even if it's just a memory of it

After you get used to those you naturally dont notice these parts but when I just stop and think about it. it still exists there... And the anime can bring it back alive the same way they did with episodes like 174
maybe even better now

I hate AOs most of the time but I really really want to see this as One special episode

however I guess its better to just stop thinking that and hope they will put as much effort to it as Mystery Train then it would still make the case even better despite the slight disappointment of not having a special (I dont want to see bunch of 1 hours either but honestly it´s impossible to tell how well they can pull it off because they havent done so yet with current graphs)

Conan don't want Haibara to meet Sera like he don't want her to meet Akai, right? What is Haibara feeling uneasy to Sera, she doubted Sera is BO member or she is identical to Dai Moroboshi.

Episode 701 just used up 2 chapters, 3 more episodes for 5 chapters are more than enough.

I think that the one who doesn't want to meet haibara is akai himself, because he feels guilty.
Sera does not seem to have a triger to haibara sense.
Althought I wonder why conan looked at sera that way when she came, whiule haibara put on her hood and looked at her as will.
I love this episode, and cant wait for the next one, andonce all of them are out, i will watch them all togther again

if this was any other series, the amount of intentionally made hype for an event that's already occurred in another medium for a series as status quo-like as this should be hilarious but I'm pumped right into the opening.

Oh Jirokichi...you know what it isn't that he's bad, he's just overstayed his welcome but I have my doubts that he'll be important here.

I like how they have a fake case before the real case and the fake case just on its own is a fun thing. I don't have much to add since that was seemingly resolved and the fact that he really died was obvious since the moment he was shot. But solid so far, to say the least.

Next episode will most likely end at the end of chapter 822 with the last episode adapting 823 and 824, as you mentioned.

Is it just me or shiho's mother ( haibara ai ) sounds so old and almost dying
The voice is diffrente from episode 341 completely
I was actually looking forward to hear the voice but I am deeply disappointed
