Movie 13..... marks the end of conan?

I also want to know. Also it could be possible that Gosho is going to finish DC next year and has given the ending for DC to the script writers so that the movie follows the manga.

Personally I don't think movie 13 marks the end of Detective Conan, Gosho hasn't even revealed who the leader of the BO is. And more likely Detective Conan will end in a series rather than in a movie. But anyway enough talk about "rumors" like "the end of Detective Conan", lets just wait and see what will happen in the end.

Totally agree on that. It's too early to jump to conclusions and gosho tends to make each movie better than the other which means more excitement and tension. I won't like a long awaited movie like this to end without any shooting or screaming.

It's not Gosho who "makes" the movies and I don't think that all the newer ones are better than the ones before, but of course, there's no accounting for taste. =) However, Gosho can definitely decide whether it's going to affect the manga plot or not - and I'm positive it won't.
So I'm also quite sure that the story won't end in a movie. After all, it'd be really difficult to keep it from being cramped with information...

O.K. I have read the whole topic and my opinion is that the 13th movie will not be the end of DC . I think the scenario is gonna be something like this : The case will involve the members of the BO , Conan will witness Gin or a member of the BO shooting or killing somebody, and they will go after him... I have a feeling it will be something like this , but we shall see... And yeah somebody said that the pics are just there to make us talk about the movie and that it always works...I AGREE WITH THAT!:D

I also think that though this will end up being (probably) a more violent, intense movie, we could be surprised (or disappointed). For example, the 10th movie. I wanted to see it because it looked interesting (and because Kid was in it, but that's something else ). After watching it, I was completely confused and slightly upset, as the movie was something I was looking forward to seeing, and it turned out to be less than satisfactory. Many others felt this way, also. I do hope that this movie is not like that, and that it will be like the 5th movie-a thriller about the BO that doesn't disrupt the manga storyline at all. I don't think Conan will end with this movie-Gosho probably most likely wouldn't end this fantastic story in a movie, which would mess with the manga storyline unless chapters identical to the movie would be released right before the movie. As others have stated, Gosho doesn't really touch the movies except for a few scenes, so I really don't think this movie is the end (as ominous as that sounds). Yeah...that's my two cents.

1. I'm totally hyper because of this trailer. Hopefully it is a good movie. I agree with you. The 10th movie looked absolutely awesome but in the end it was a little disappointing.

2. Kudo Shinichi you mentioned a interview. Is it it the one from Germany while Football/Soccer World Cup? If yes, he definitely did not say anything about an end in 2008 or 2009. He just said, that he has the final scene already in his head and was laying traces for the identity of "anokata".

3. Don't you think he sometimes helps in these movies? I also thought he has nothing to do with it, but in volume 59 he said the idea for the second drama was his and he gave it to the script writer. Therefore, why should Aoyama do not help the authors of the movies?
