To little chance to be Heizo, the Kogoro theory also makes you wonder just how stupid Kogoro is, maybe he just has the attention span of a hyperactive toddler, I mean just say Okino Yoko and he starts screaming Yooooookoooo-chan and forgetting everything else. On the other hand even if it was with Conan's help he did solve some cases before the police or noticed things Conan didn't, although I can only remember the later seems to happen only once in the manga noticing the culprit is the father, and not the lover, of his former classmate...

I remember now! I was thinking about Heizo! In volume 32...
Spoiler:
Heiji clearly says "Kudo" right before he goes to confront the criminal, which is also right before Conan gets held back. Heizo must have been nearby in order to get Conan that quickly...meaning he also must have heard Heiji call Conan "Kudo".
I guess that isn't much proof...T_T But whatever. It's a possibility.
You mean Ootaki? Like this scene?

Abs. (or anyone else who can read in Japanese a little) since you are totally awesome (sense I am going to ask you a favor?), can you check the following two pages in the original Japanese and see if they specifically mention or do not mention America...

In the first one, Agasa says "kaigai", or "overseas."  For the second one, Kogorou is just saying "gaikoku", or "foreign country."  No mention of America anywhere.

*sigh*... Another potentially awesome point made moot by translation imprecision... Oh well. Thanks a bunch Ginrei!

Can you remind me which cases those are? I would like to go over them again.
...er...I said "almost" because she seems suspicious by a couple of the things she says/does more than anything that seems like proof and I'm probably just overthinking it.

Regardless, they are episodes 522/523 and 526.

Satou-keiji was one of the characters Conan had to be watchful of his behavior around in the beginning, but it looks like that's no longer the case... Perhaps awareness is one of those things that go out the window once a character enters a romantic relationship...  (wait, should this post have gone in the CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT FTW! thread?)

I doubt anybody thinks Conan is your average brat, but there is a difference between not being normal and being a shrunken high schooler.

If we think of the movies, there's also the Must-Not-Know Officer. But that's not Conan Canon after all.
If  ;), :D, ;D, ::), :P, :-X, :o or >:D are attached, that paragraph may not be 100% serious. Seriously.

I really hope for that too. Either she or Shiratori, who you forgot in another thread. I want to see him in some action. I always liked the guy, rooted for him over Takagi.

Satou starts respecting Conan's brains, that's all. Same for Takagi, actually (though, this adds points for the "they might know" suspicion) O.o Conan appreciates this. When he goes "ah-re-re" Takagi takes the fellow seriously because he has observed that Conan is unusually smart (unlike Kogoro, who makes it a point to thwack him on the head every time he hears the three syllables).

I think if Conan lets anyone from the MPD find out, it'll be Takagi. I don't think any of our everyday, simple characters will be figuring it out any time soon simply because the story is too radical: seventeen year old genius detective shrinks into seven year old boy. Only two have truly figured it out: Heiji and Hondou (and Kaitou Kid/Kuroba Kaitou if he counts). All are peers to Shinichi. I.e, no adults so far. And they hadn't known about the B.O formerly. Ran hit it on the dot (albeit a little sheepishly because she didn't believe in her own deduction) in Desperate Revival, but Shinichi fooled her out of it.

So people who have no clue about the B.O finding out is quite a rare thing so far. Takagi has come the closest, I think, and even Conan has nearly admitted it to him (episode 304, right?).

As for the FBI/other B.O. Members/Okiya (whose identity has not be verified) the possibility of figuring it out seems Gosho-likely. I use that term because the likeliness of anything happening as we expect is never any greater or less than 50% when Aoyama Gosho-sensei is the one making things happen at all. I just never really predict his plot twists. [See how much he's gotten us speculating?]

It's strange that the kids, who spend a lot of time with him and also have seen him using the bow tie when Agasa is solving a case, or anybody who spends half a day with him have yet to figure his identity. Leaving aside things that require a special analysis like fingerprints, blood type, and DNA just how much evidence of Conan's identity is around, I mean Agasa calls him Shinichi (I believe this was noticed at least one by the kids), Heiji constantly calls him Kudou (and constantly keeps making puns trying to get out of trouble), Yamamura knows he is Yukiko's son (I can't understand how come he only tried to say it once, plot device probably), add his appearance, his "TV" or "uncle Kogoro's" knowledge, the fact that he directs the investigation with hints (though only Ran seems to really notice this often), and that's without counting how he seems to care less and less to hide himself while shotting at Kogoro or using the bow tie before knocking him out.

The entire MPD know Conan's not an average kid... but I'm extremely dissapointed that NO one has found out his identity yet or is trying to. Conan talked to Takagi in an adult-like way in the Sato bomb case [oh come on, being a weird kid has its limits!], so I think if anyone does find out, it's Takagi. But it's highly unlikely. Come to think of it, Takagi probably won't go about searching the reason for Conan's sharpness. It'll be somewhat OOC for him.

I hope someone from the FBI like James or Jodie find out. You don't involve a 7 year old in your top secret operations against a deadly criminal organisation now do you? :P

Vermouth, Shuu and Okiya [whoever he may actually be] know for sure.

If Conan's identity is found, so will be Haibara's.

Sorry..my english fails me during this exact moment in time.
