Re: DC Fantasy
Firstly, let me explain why I'm doing this list.
The things pointed out by me are the ones I noticed that will not happen in real life nowadays.
Ok, most of them are possible, that's why I wrote Not-so-Real. Mind the word.
I don't want to argue but it can't be helped.
so ok. intelligent persons do exist. but what are the odds that they'll solve crimes in a matter of minutes (e.g. yuusaku)?
and kyuuketsuki, for your info, i know the famous persons you've mentioned. and the kid who knew martial arts? i bet he can't jump off buildings unscathed just like in animes.
slow persons. i'm not talking about diseases. i'm not talking about low IQ's. i'm talking about Ran.
loyal people. ok, you say unrequited love. who would wait for someone you can't even contact or meet and always disappearing without a trace?
agasa's inventions. don't need to say much. but whoever said this manga were never meant to be realistic? i'd say the author is trying very hard to make it realistic.
civilians in a crime scene. ok, they're related or involved. but a child? no way.
can someone consider a swept dust/trash a clue? i bet it'll be unnoticed.
very shallow excuses to kill. anyone with a right mind would think about it first. talk about killing because of a ruined movie. and i'm not talking about sociopaths. most of the culprits in DC is not a sociopath.
how can you say Kaitou KID is normal?
amazing healing abilities. you say they're usually concept of animes/mangas. but i'm talking about real life; and can clotting occur within seconds?
I have more things to say but I'm too lazy to write and argue. :V

i was also wondering why ran is so slow... i mean, she got common sense when it comes to a lot of things, but not when it comes to shinichi... but perhaps there are really people like that...
about the shallow reasons of the murderers, i think it's common... every person has their own sensitive parts...
and true, why do conan notice even a little tiny bit of of particle... ever since i've been watching dc, i've been always wonder about that... (not when i was a kid...)
perhaps those are not-so-real, but only uncommon incidents...

I think I agree with this one. Some intelligent people are really beyond our imagination. I had that kind of experience, before I enter one of the most prestigious high schools in this country.kyuuketsuki wrote: Super Intelligent People... not so real...? OK... So you are saying Einstein, Edison, Galileo, the good people at CERN, Newton, are ALL MYTHS! OMG! My eyes have been.... wait... if they didn't exist then how do we have all that we have today? DAMN IT! And more recently... yes there was an 11 yr old kid who graduated college, and I bet he can also kick your ass, as he is a martial arts champion [sounds like something out of an anime... I know, but its true]. There are also many inventors who constantly improve things, and there are people who program things that most people can't even imagine. Just because you don't know of them...doesn't mean they don't exist.
I apologize in advance that my story is a bit loooong~
You don't have to read it anyways.Â

The hair.
The number of murders.
The crazy tricks.
Shinichi's spare time for speedboat lessons, plane lessons, shooting lessons, etc.
Shinichi's possibly perfect pitch, since he sings terribly and people learn by hearing. UNLESS he has some kind of problem with his vocal chords.
Shinichi's ability to jump from tree to tree. (might be possible, but still.......)
ALL [almost] impossible.
Okay, the hair's NORMAL for a manga. But how do you cosplay Shinichi's little pointy things on his head?!

This was probably done during holiday time. And besides, movies are not canon.kkslider5552000 wrote:HAWAIIccppfan wrote: Shinichi's spare time for speedboat lessons, plane lessons, shooting lessons, etc.
Actually, Yuusaku doesn’t solve crimes in a matter of minutes. (ie the Butterfly case) And I’ve seen several people jump off of building unscathed. There are actually people who do that for a living. It’s their job.bluekaitou1412 wrote: Firstly, let me explain why I'm doing this list.

Anyways, I just cleared my point. If you think it's not reasonable, it's ok.
Every persons have different views and opinions, that's all.
and P.S., I'm not angry
Ran isn’t really that slow. It’s just that Shinichi is much smarter than she is and is able to fool her much more easily. And there’s actually one word for Ran. “Goshoâ€

ok. i lost. i agree with you about ran.
Yeah, people jump off building without the help of a parachute. People have been doing it for years. First time I saw it was two years ago, though. Yes, I watch G4, suckers.

It's true that very smart people exist, but einstein didn't developed the theory of relativity in one day...LDCF wrote:I think I agree with this one. How can you explain that every single case is solved in a single day?
Or what haibara feels when someone from the BO is close?
police officers letting children in the crime scene.
Or in the two-mix case, the police sent 4 underage childs (without even asking their parents!)
After that, Why wasn't Megure or whoever was in charge fired?
There are many cases that are solved using as proof something said by the culprit.
conan and the DB were able to disband a money counterfeiting org (ep 129?), but he can't do anything vs the BO even with help of the FBI. Why doesn't he inform the police about the situation?.
How can the police's lab have every study (fingerprints, blood, DNA, etc) done in a matter of hours??
How could Gin find a hair of haibara in a dark place of a moving car?
Every scene where conan uses the ball to knock someone out.
In movie 12, the 911 call (when he shoots from 50000000 km (doesn't matter how skilled you are), and when they actualy sing).
If i keep thinking i'm sure i'll find more of this not-so-real situations, so, i think we can call conan a not-so-real show and stop arguing(?).

Re: DC Fantasy
My fault. But i keep thinking that conan is a not-so-real show, just as almost every anime.bluekaitou1412 wrote: ok. movies, as all of us say, are not canon.
And that's what makes it great (?) ;D
I think it's cool that kaitou kid never losses, or that conan/shinichi doesn't have a single case unsolved, or the relationship between conan and the police, etc.
I just like it, for some reason, i can't drop conan, as i did with other anime that didn't get right to the point.

Re: DC Fantasy
It is possible to have perfect pitch without konwoing how to sing. If you can catch the notes, it doesn´t mean that you can sing them. For example, I can play the piano and I can catch some notes without looking at them, (I don´t have perfect pitch), but to sing them, it´s very different, you have to know how to be in tone. Another example, a friend of mine plays the guitar and wanted to learn to play the piano, without a teacher because he´s very lazy; so, he bought a small electric piano and started to hear the songs he liked and the first song he played by ear was Fur Elise of Ludwig van Beethoven! And the point is, he sings extremely bad.ccppfan wrote: Shinichi's possibly perfect pitch, since he sings terribly and people learn by hearing.
