That's right—the break between Reunion with the Black Organization and The Desperate Revival.
Still, Season 20's beginning had one of the longest, if not the longest, stretch of manga episodes only (608–628). And the # of AO episodes in a row that year was 7, actually.

If we could fly out of that window hand in hand, hover over this great city, gently remove the roofs, and and peep in at the queer things which are going on, the strange coincidences, the plannings, the cross-purposes, the wonderful chains of events, working through generations, and leading to the most outre results, it would make all fiction with its conventionalities and foreseen conclusions most stale and unprofitable.”

Well, if you count the Remaster Episode and the MK episode between 634 and 635, then yes, it was only seven, but I only count actual DC episodes without Remasters.

The remaster and the MK episode, then, actually made it a 10 week break.

From 179-187, 4 episodes were two-parters, one was a great 1h hour special and 'only' 4 were one-parters (179, 182, 183, 187). This time we're looking at at least 7 one parters and a 2 parter but that one will be the Mystery Tour and those are usually pretty crappy.

That was A Cursed Mask Coldly Laughs (Episode 184), right? I've heard that one is pretty good... I'd best check it out.

Could be—we'll see.

The previous statement was scarier than every horror movie.
3 months of AO (successive or otherwise) was guaranteed by Gosho's health breaks earlier in the year—we're due these long AO stretches, one way or another.
