What don't you want to see/happen in Detective Conan?

An american /british childhood friend. Just prayed he/she was not the child in the latest chapter XD
I somehow tired of Sera/bourbon arc. I want to see Haibara's past as Sherry, her family etc. It's much more interesting than the whole Sera's family*oops

I like childhood friend love stories, most of them are very cute in my opinion, so I disagree with people who say there shouldn't be any. Although I can agree Gosho already put many of them in the story, so maybe he would better develop those already present instead of putting new ones without exploring them well.

The problem is that there are a lot of childhood friend lovers in DC,too many to be realistic IMO.
Gosho himself claimed that it's the easy way for him to create love stories...So it's not very exciting to use the same model of pairings so many times.
I know many people like them,but I'm not into this...

Concerning Haibara,she never had friends when she was young so a childhood lover is unlikely for me.I think Gosho will bring a new character to be her lover,maybe someone who will be important to the main plot.

Anyway as long as it's well done,I don't mind seeing Ai with a lover,she deserves a real man...So it's Ok for me AS LONG AS IT'S NOT MITSUHIKO.

Oh yeah an other thing I don't want to happen in DC is for Ai to stay as a kid in the end,I will be disappointed...

I agree with you,we need to see more of Sherry's past.Gosho focuses so much on the new characters and neglects the development of the main characters.So yeah I don't want Sera to take too much place in the story.

I agree, too large quantity sometimes reduces quality. Even though I am a childhood love fan, I would prefer that Gosho explored better the already existing pairings instead of adding others. I just hope he doesn't end them tragically or with a cliff-hanger: I mean, unfortunately I can't imagine tsundere characters like Heiji and Kazuha who argue continuously to openly admit their feelings for one another. So I suspect Gosho might end such pairings with a cliff-hanger, but that would be disappointing, at least for me.

Dont worry, Shinichi and Ran will end up together in 100% rate. I guarantee it.
And if main character's death, as long as it makes sense and not to be forced, I have nothing against it.
I'll be angry if Ai would end up die or sacrifice herself for Conan's sake. What a waste of the greatest character in DC universe. Maybe i will drop the series if something bad happens with Ai.

@Aichan : i agree with you. DC is Magic kaitou's "copy paste". Because DC has gain more attention than MK, Gosho focused on DC and the rest was history. I dont mind childhood lovers because it's beautiful and rare in real life. Shinichi -Ran is beautiful at first and their awesomeness stories became plainly and dull in Gosho's small lala world. It surprised me because there were so many ConAi shippers outside. They are not canon and even in the very first volume, we know that Shinichi only has eyes for Ran. (I dont want to discuss KaiShin which is very popular in doujinshi and fanfiction ) Gosho himself has denied ConAi in his interviews in 2004 so I think people want to see their favorite couple to have a great relationship. I mean, Gosho has drawn so many ShinRan moments and there were still some people want different pairings. ConAi is very popular in China and Korea also.

I read it somewhere long time ago since I'm a DC fan for over ten years. I think there're lots of people request for ConAi but he dropped it. Ran is created to be Shinichi's lover from the start (even Haibara wasnt introduced yet) and she cant be sacked because Gosho loves childhood pairings. It's safe and easy to draw. Although a detective and an ex-criminal will be an interesting pair because of the contradict interest.
No wonder KaiShin is very popular. I read in someone's blog, since Ai and Kaitou are very popular (people like to pair them with Shinichi, DC editor dont want them to have lovers yet. Kaitou has Aoko but it's in MK not DC. Haibara wwill be single until the end =D (she is too awesome to have a lover , of course she will be marrying one day but not with Gosho's chara; i prefer Sebastian from kuroshitsuji XD)

I too am against more childhood friends turned lovers. We have way too many of those already. As for Ai getting a childhood friend, it is unlikely since she has claimed to have always been alone before Conan and co. entered her life apart from her sister. But then again, in DC universe there are those moments of people meeting only once as kids and having that become a pivotal point. So who knows, maybe Ai had someone like that.

2- dont want the boss to be a man ( I want a woman like the Boss in metal gear solid 3 ( I know gosho can give me great character like her )

Hmm Ai is useful for the story,contrary to some other characters who are only there for the romance...without her Conan would never have been able to have his old body when he wanted to see Ran(London case,desperate revival) so killing her would be stupid IMO

I don't want to see every BO character dead/arrested at the end D: At least one should be able to escape and not get caught XD (Haibara, Kir etc. not included. I mean the ones that didn't betray the BO or are spies)

LOL I admit that would be nice and more realistic,but apparently Gosho wants a Happy ending,and I don't think it would be a happy ending if one of the bad guys manage to escape.That would endanger the good characters...
