Eve's voice really would work, though mid/end series Eve rather than early season.  When she starts using a little more emotion.  The dub for Black Cat isn't bad, except for the Apostles of the Star members.  Once they became prominant I had to switch to the japanese audio.

OMG!!! What have they done with Haibara  :-X? I have watched an episode of the dubbed Black Cat. There were scenes where Eve's voice was too soft that I have to strain my ears so that I could fully understand what she's really saying.

meh, the voice actor sounds like haibara's personality (witty, annoying, a bit of a ***** cough) over exaggerated
tat actor will def fail when doin those scenes where haibara acts nice.

i agree wit Ginrei, eve's voice def works, it reflects her character at the start and then more emotion l8er. (this comin from some1 who neva watched the anime XD, finished the manga tho lol)

I don't like that voice, sounds like a woman not a child.
Haibara's Japanese voice is so much better, it sounds so cute! :P
The Japanese voices FTW!

Agreed That Voice is better suited to an older character like Ran. But then the Dub just not Detective Conan. It is completely different.

To me, that Haibara is passable.  In my opinion, Conan's & Richard's voice are much more annoying.  I feel that they are so bad that they need to be changed if Case Closed is ever going to be popular with English-speaking tv viewers.

Strange, I never got the tomboy feel from Haibara. I have seen a lot of anime tomboys and none wear the clothes Haibara wears(mainly skirts) or routinely read fashion magazines and ask for fashion apparel when the opportunity presents itself. To me Mayumi would be okay with this voice, still will be horrible but at least it showed that they tried.
Well the thing about Gosho's girls is that they're all a mix of "tomboy" and "girly girl"  xD.  For example Ayumi only hanged out with guys (before Haibara came along), she runs around being a hero of justice, she loves monster movies and Kaiba Yamen xD.  However at the same time she's very self concious of her looks and behavior around Conan, she loves playing with Japanese dolls, loves romantic stories, and she's always dressed very adorably <3.
Yeah I agree. Gosho's combination for the personality of his characters is very balanced. That's what makes them awesome.
I never felt a tomboyish fell on Haibara. She's really balanced. The rest is what kirite said  :P

Yuki wrote: For the new Detective Conan Wii game, Haibara has an English voice actress. Her name is Brina Palencia, and on Wikipedia it is said she voices Haibara for not only the Wii game, but for the Case Closed series. You can hear her voice as Haibara here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfyVkl3QtRQ
About halfway through, she speaks.

OMG!!!!!! The voices of the whole Detective Boys suck! Sorry, but it really did.
Conan's voice was that of a grown man! It doesn't suit the voice for a child. I would definitely stick to the original!

How can you hate Kogoro's voice?  His dub voice is probably the best one.

That was Shinichi, not Conan.  Funi has Conan's thoughts use Shinichi's voice.

you guess are being a little harsh on the VA for case closed, first off Richard VA is not bad, also if you are basing your ideas of them as voice actor on their performance in a video game then you are not giving them a fair shot. also we don't know for sure if they are using her as  the voice in the anime, there where quite a few that seemed to have a different voice actor in the game compared to the anime. the frist girl that talked seemed to have a much higher pitch and different intonation then the one in the anime.
