I think it only works well with AiCon because its weird for little kids to be in that pose..

Probably not technically. Just they use a sound effect that sounds like recharging the beam katana,

What I meant is he doesn't need to hide his true self in front of her,and I think that other than Heiji,Ai is the second one he can share his secrets with.

It had the Detective Boys in it. DB + OA/OVA = mess. Usually I do enjoy their manga based cases, though.
