In episode 574 Kazuha says that "the charm only work for her" but when Heiji gave Conan HIS charm the charm worked and protected him from being stabbed! If Kazuha's charm only works for Kazuha then we can assume Heiji's will only work for Heiji.... then WHY did it work for Conan?

Akai is Anokata.

Vermouth tries to help Akai by finding a second silver bullet to replace Akai's efforts to destroy the black organization which keeps Akai from replying to Vermouth's love for him.

Whenever Akai is known to have found an outside interest, Vermouth didn't like it.

Of course, Akai the Gigolo never learns and his secret desires for Jodie (when she was a child) were discovered by Vermouth. Vermouth doesn't like that (wants to keep her man for herself) and kills off Jodie's parents to spite Jodie and ruin her childhood. Except Jodie got into the FBI, which is where Akai was infiltrating.

Poor Akemi died because Vermouth doesn't like her man taken away, especially by a pawn. Gin did this out of his hatred of Akemi (to be shown later) and out of the little love for Vermouth.

Haibara's just a reminder of who Akai chose. Vermouth weighed the decision between getting the silver bullet or erasing the reminder of how Akai the Gigolo betrayed her, and decided to let Haibara die by someone else's hands (like Calvados, Gin, Bourbon etc.) so she didn't have to dirty her own hands.

Gin is trying so hard to destroy the man who really can effectively take down the organization (as its boss) because of his love for Vermouth (long ago, before the series started). When he found out that Vermouth would never want to be his true love, he stopped pursuing.

Later on, he found Akemi to be his love when the two sisters became known to him. Unfortunately, Akemi didn't seem to like Gin's advances because Akai had already stolen her heart.

Gin's hatred of Haibara is because he's projecting his hatred for Akemi's rejection when he asked her out. Akemi actually only wants Akai, which made Gin feel inferior, so he wants to kill off Akai and become the boss to show his superiority.

All those sexual tension are taken out on the person closest to Akemi's look, aka Haibara. Gin really just wants to keep Haibara around to make her pay for what her sister has done, since Akemi doesn't buckle under Gin's torture (and Gin can't really do it without feeling his heartstrings tugged upon).

Akai, Jodie, Camel, Shinichi, Conan, Kaito, Aoko, Ran, Sato, Takagi, Ai, Genta, Ayumi, and Kogoro are all the same person which is....Anokata!

Dr. Agasa is secretly the true leader of the Black Organization, micromanaging the group from afar.

Shinichi/Conan does have perfect pitch, but pretends not to in order to have an actual flaw. This is apparent because Conan is terrible at singing, but can hear pitch perfectly.

Gin has an older brother named En, whom he wishes to never see again due to the teasing he put up with in school.

The entire area where the series takes place has major technological advancements faster than everyone else. This is why characters have been able to switch from using payphones, to cell phones, and eventually to smartphones.

Whenever nobody's around, Conan likes to take off his shirt in the restroom and pretend he's a muscular barbarian-type character. Around Christmas, he puts on a wig of red hair and tells jokes to himself in the mirror.

Shinichi/Conan has some mild form of Asperger's Syndrome, which is why he can observe things that others may not notice and paint incredibly vivid pictures of what really happened. This is also why Conan shows little emotion in any of the murders he encounters, as well as any emotional regret toward never telling Ran.

Shinichi at some point obviously had a cocaine addiction, since he tries his hardest to emulate Sherlock Holmes in almost every other way.

Several characters in Kaito Lady's post above mine have sang an Easter Egg song for the Detective Conan soundtrack titled "Haku Anokata" to the tune of a certain Disney song.

Anakota is either Sherlock Holmes or Moriarity... the proof is they're the only characters I can think of that have been mentioned by name but haven't been seen yet.

Vermouth is Anokata. Her "boss" is long gone, and she took over in secret so as to keep the organization going. However, she realized her minions were merely a bunch of hooligans who did as they pleased and got away with any crime they wanted, and that her scientists were getting nowhere at all; so she decided to be the spanner in her own works by allowing external investigators into the case, concealing their identity from the rest of the Organization, and manipulating Conan into faking Shiho's death (whose being alive was just a godsend for her plans, and an ace up her sleeve worth keeping), among further steps that we've still not seen or haven't yet been set in motion.

There's no Okino Yoko either, she's always been Vermouth in disguise. She allowed Kir and Kogoro to come in contact with each other so as to give her "pawn" (which is Conan) additional aid through the FBI and an insider in the BO; perhaps she had a few ways of forcing the revelation of Rena being Kir, but Conan's bug worked just as well.

Yep. A very convoluted theory. And one I'd love to see come true.
