784 : Welcome to Club Orihime

+ :
-I did like the idea of having the Romeo and Juliet play as a backround for the story.
-Mostly good music (Ran's theme 2007 version at the end, among others).
-The art was actually quite good for a filler, as were the colours.

- :
-Obvious culprit is obvious.
-The story really wasn't compelling at all.
-Characters were quite bland.

I'd give it 5/10.

Super annoying episode. A girl wrote a love letter, she was ignored, and as a revenge she wanted to kill herself.

0/10 for me.

The +: The drawings weren't bad (not as bad as episode 785's), and Hiro Shimono as Yuto Kariya.
The -: The culprit was obvious and stupid, and the Romeo and Juliet play was not explored and used enough.
4/10 for me.

It got me wondering how stupid can a person be... So a girl got rejected by a popular guy who rejects girls right and left anyway and she wants to commit suicide because of that... yeah... I don't think there's anything more to add...

The only plus of this episode was that it was the first time ever in DC when the culprit switches from suicide attempt to murder attempt at the last second. I'm pretty sure that this twist hasn't been done before.

Episode 784 : Welcome to Club Orihime

Y'know, you'd think a series like this wouldn't take this long to reference something as universally known as Romeo and Juliet.

Honestly this is most high school thing the series has ever done. But despite that, arguably even because of that, I liked it. Again, so much of my enjoyment of the series, especially nowadays comes from "please, please, please, keep me interested." And I felt unlike a lot of 1 episode AOs, it did just that, and wasn't just a rushed 2 part case, thus taking away any interest or worthwhile slow pacing. This was a rapid fire, limited time case about going around from place to place, so the pacing fit pretty well. Also, it focused on Sonoko, so I'm happy about this.

Episode 785:Taiko Meijin's Match of Love (Part 1)

Ok as a small rant, I am so hyping sick that every time I decide to pause the video for more than a minute or two that it means inevitably the video will freeze soon after starting. Thus meaning all that time spent tolerating/ignoring the ads is wasted. Ugh.

Hotel Hyde Pride? My immediate reaction is a really gay version of Jekyll and Hyde was somehow involved in the creation of this hotel.

Shukichi sure picked a great time to leave!

At this time, I don't believe she's been kidnapped. Not sure how they faked it and I'm not sure exactly what reason I have to think that but I have a feeling that's what is going on.

Ok, so she was kidnapped. Even if I'm kinda done with the constant pairing up of characters, like the previous one I like this more than some of the recent love stories (arguably even the ones using more established characters). But I do hope Yumi is just too cool for this. The case is fine enough, there hasn't been many kidnappings or this type of riddle like case so it's fun to see. Though I find it weird that seemingly this ends next episode. Also, hi Sera! ....bye Sera!

EPISODE 786 - IT'S PART 2 OF THE SAME CASE YOU SHOULD KNOW THIS, SERIOUSLY

OKIYA SUBARU'S POINTLESS CAMEOS EPISODE 36: Post-Game

OK, so this all happened solely because he refused to explain anything and ask for a second chance. I was initially gonna be annoyed at Shukichi but no this guy is a fool.

The ending was better than I expected. I was a bit worried with the last episode they were gonna make Yumi boring, but she kept the lovey dovey stuff casual enough that it worked ok. But I'm more interested in that other new character. So is it a theory yet that she's a new character that was turned into a child by APTX4869? Because I think that's where they're going with it and I'd assume that's people's guess based on being an important plot character and also a child.

Also, Sato and Takagi has a vastly better kiss moment, and a vastly better kidnapping plot.

Was this trying to break the record for most annoying rich bitch in the history of DC ?

Actually I'd appreciate if these kind of characters didn't die once in a while. I know there has always been Reikas in DC, but you also used to have bitchy characters who would be suspects and not die (the elder sister in the second bandaged man case) or culprits (the bitchy smoking lady in episode 75).

Also, this episode went overboard when it comes to re-using scenes, whether it be via flashbacks or before and after the closing doors thing.
