I was once interested in knowing what the old fans did in the earlier years of DC. I started looking last year on the oldest non-japanese DC content ever and I remember coming up with this:
A cute website from 1998: https://www.beikacho.com/conan/
For the Arabic community, I found this one from 2001: https://web.archive.org/web/20010401000 ... n.cjb.net/
This is what this forum looks like to the new generation of fans I guess, and I love it that way. I can feel the continuity between the old and the new fans.
This is a callout for the OGs, we need someone to make a timeline of the DC community over years. Do you have an old website to share with us?

The oldest one I know of in the English-speaking world is this one : https://edogawa.proboards.com/
Some content goes back to 2004.
Some content goes back to 2004.

If such an entity really existed, wouldn't all honest, hard-working people be happy?"

Popping in here because this question intrigued me!
Some helpful links for your scavenger hunt of Conan website history:
Jane's Detective Conan's Mystery Files and other Gosho's Series (2001)
--Links out from Jane's page to help your search
Jane's Kid - The Phantom Thief Page (2002)
--Interesting info for this one is that Jane was the source of the original English scanlations of Magic Kaito--she translated from the Thai translation and I believe did her edits on MSPaint?
--A Kaitou Kid webring listed on Jane's page
Icka's Kaitou Kid Reference Page (2005)
--Links out from Icka's page to help your search
Been around since ye olden times and still updating:
Shinjuku Station's Detective Conan : Kudo's Files
--Seriously been around forever. I remember seeing when info about Movie 8 was the new thing. Still updating the upcoming schedule regularly!
(And I know you were looking for English language, but wanted to toss these in here too)
Koware.net
--Been around forever and I remember using them as a reference guide for stuff when I was regularly editing the DCW Wiki
"Detective Conan Staff List Office" (探偵コナン スタッフリスト詰所)
--So this blog focuses entirely on keeping records of all the staff listings for the entire series as well as spinoffs. Looks like their blog has been around since 2007! I forget when I discovered it, but yet another reference I used regularly for Wiki editing, specifically this page: http://dcaptx.konjiki.jp/
