Questions about Aoyama Gosho

Post by phattara »

Is "Gosho" his pen name or did he change his birth name to Gosho?

In DCW's Wiki, it says that he has 2 brothers. I was wondering if he's the first born child or a middle child or last born child. If someone knows, please tell me. :)

And can someone write me his High School name in Japanese?

Yes, Gosho is a pen name he made up because his real first name is Yoshimasa.

@DCUniverseAficionado: could you please try to reduce the size of this image? It takes a lot of screen space.

And, yes, I figured that out today when I glanced at Gosho's wikipedia page.

You mean told people his real name?

Remember the last time you did so, if you don't mind me asking?

Isn't it just his original name written the same and pronounced differently? I think Koshi Inaba of B'z does the same thing.

You're right, it's the same Kanji but he uses a different reading for it.

And can someone write me his High School name in Japanese?

From Super Digest Book 30+ :

Q90: Where does the name "Gosho" come from?
A: My parents gave me this name, they wanted me to be proud! (it's my real name)

So it's that 剛昌 can be read both as "Yoshimasa" and "Gosho". He just changed the pronunciation. And, about his brothers, he is the oldest one, and the other two are an engineer and a doctor. :)
