I don't remember much from that but I prefer the upcoming ShinRan one from memory because Gosho hasn't done a real everyday life case with a structure like that ever so it gets bonus points. Ofcourse certain things are questionable but it's always nice to see Gosho try new things.

I think he just means Agasa's First Love took really long to adapt from manga to anime—after all, it was released in late 2002 in the manga, and yet it took until late 2005 for it to be adapted for the anime.

If we could fly out of that window hand in hand, hover over this great city, gently remove the roofs, and and peep in at the queer things which are going on, the strange coincidences, the plannings, the cross-purposes, the wonderful chains of events, working through generations, and leading to the most outre results, it would make all fiction with its conventionalities and foreseen conclusions most stale and unprofitable.”

I'm not sure why they would care? It's not like they go on the internet to see people complain how they're animating stuff out of order.
The anime doesn't have to be animated page by page in order of how it's presented in the manga. Sometimes they can't because of budgeting constraints or traumatizing, real life events. Let the anime staff do as they please.

Fans can be rather demanding after all what with these death threats that authors get every now and then.

Wait, what? That's what you got from my post? And no, of course I don't think that they're going to take years to adapt certain cases—I never suggested that to begin with (In other words, we've got a case of misinterpretation, here).

I was saying that kkslider was talking about the length in between the adaptations of certain episodes, not the actual quality of them (since your response to his post was about the quality, right?).

Yes but I knew he could have meant that just as well I don't really care if they switch those episodes around to other arcs.

Gotcha.

Technically incorrect. In the anime, Haibara was introduced in the first episode of the year 1999. "The secret of the moon, the star, and the sun" aired later that same year.

3 years after its publication. That case was from volume 12 and was aired right before cases from volume 25.

Yeah, I got that now. I thought you said that the episode aired 3 years after Haibara's introduction.

To be honest, I don't care that much about the ShinRan case. There are way better cases after that that I can't wait to see. They can delay it however long they want ^^
