To be fair, it's better than it was during that thankfully brief period (late 2009, 2010) where they seemed to be transitioning out the whole soundtrack. If that had kept going, I feel the anime would've been actually AT LEAST 25% worse as a whole. And that's being kind. And taking into account that they fixed some of the new songs after a while to sound less dull.
