I don't put much value on these movies anyways... that's probably why I can still expect for a good one haha.

Of course the studio wants to give you the expectation something huge might happen in the next movie, so you'll be hyped and come see it. Watch movie 13's trailers again, they all try to give you the impression the BO knows and stuff is about to happen.
Even if Gin is suspicious, by the end of the film he won't be, or his suspicions will be invalidated so he'll shrug it off and forget about it.

To be honest, Movie 13 went so far with how obvious it was that it was a lie that it made me less excited about it initially.

1 - CONAN MOVIES ARE ONLY SUBBED ONCE THE DVD IS OUT IN OCTOBER
2 - CONAN MOVIES ARE NOT CANON
3 - CONAN MOVIES ALWAYS HAVE A HELICOPTER IN THEIR TRAILER
