What can it help, now manga is on irregular release schedule, so anime needs to use AOs or remastered episodes to buy times and margin between manga and anime.
Or even stretch out normal Manga two-parters into three-parters.

Well, season 7 still has the most about of AOs in a row than any other season, with 9.

Even one part fillers are better than Scarlet Showdown.

From what I've read of your posts, it's clear that you were massively disappointed by both Mystery Train and Scarlet Showdown, due to what you saw as wasted potential for such important stories... but, even then... I think you're stretching it.
“Life is infinitely stranger than anything which the mind of man could invent. We would not dare to conceive the things which are really mere commonplaces of existence. If we could fly out of that window hand in hand, hover over this great city, gently remove the roofs, and and peep in at the queer things which are going on, the strange coincidences, the plannings, the cross-purposes, the wonderful chains of events, working through generations, and leading to the most outre results, it would make all fiction with its conventionalities and foreseen conclusions most stale and unprofitable.”

Really, I'm not...MT at least had a somewhat decent case. SS doesn't even have that.

Depends. An episode like last week's, yes, you're the only one. An episode like this week's, not at all. :P

I've heard that there are some people who ONLY watch AOs, and skip everything else.

I mean, there is nothing wrong with enjoying AO's, some of them are actually good. But why would someone do THAT?

I think I've heard that too actually. Really though, unless they read the manga as well, I don't see why anyone would want to skip anything potentially relating to the plot.

Thanks for the update.
So, episode 778 will be written by Tatsuro Inamoto. His last episode was The Missing Lover in the Snowstorm. Bad news. :P

I do read the manga most of the time, but when I watch episodes, I still watch mostly manga-based episodes.
