Yuminaga contradictions

Post by Max1996 »

This is about Inspector Yuminaga. His behavior around Conan seems different in different episodes. In the "Red, White and " case, he trusts Conan's deduction and refers to him as "the boy who puts the police to shame". However, his opinion of Conan completely changes in different episodes. In both the "Blue Spark of Hate" and "Hot Chocolate Trap" (AO) cases, he seems more like Kogoro than what he seemed like in the "Red, White and Yellow" case, allowing Conan limited time on the crime scene (Blue Spark of Hate) or even removing him from the crime scene, Kogoro-style (Hot Chocolate Trap).

These changes in behavior seem odd to me, though it may just be a flaw in my interpretation of it all. What do you guys think?

Blue Spark of Hate was also the case where Haibara learns to trust people or some crap via static electricity, so I don't think Gosho was thinking 100% making that case anyway. :p
