That's a really quick turnaround on the single's release. I wonder if it was just decided very recently to be an ED or if it's just abnormal timing.

Afaik, no, but it'll be airing in about 15 hours (give or take, ofc) and it'll be on YouTube a couple hours later. At least that's what usually happens. There are no guarantees.

Edit: OHHHH that's right. It's episode 27 remastered (Kogoro's class reunion). Next week is part 2, then break. Got it. :x

So I just watched the new ending and for the moment it's just a rehash of certain scenes from the episode with the new music behind it. I suspect we will have to wait for episode 750 to air for the ending to have its own animation.
