Doubt it. When there are 3 episodes they usually give a name to each of them instead of doing 'part 1-part 2'. They did do 'part 1-2-3-4' for the Vampire case though so who knows.

Episodes are made several weeks if not months before they air so the 5 episode thing was just false information.

No. The Vampire case was '1-2-3-4', without 'part'. Different wording.

Usually parts 1 and 2 aren't actually numbered, but they use "beginning part" (前編 zempen) and "ending part" (後編 kouhen), which we usually translate as parts 1 and 2 because that's the usual English convention.

Vampire Mansion's parts were numbered (1), (2), (3), (4).
