Wedding Eve (667-668) was pretty sad :)

I remember one with the karaoke box murder, where the murdered man was a singer and the murderer was his manager/old bandmate. And I remember the lemon tea one. But was there a case where they were both combined? I don't remember.
I'm sorry, I was talking about two different cases: Karaoke Box and Lemon Tea Case and no, there was no such case where they were both combined.

I've been re-watching some of the older episodes and encountered an old favorite of mine. Episode 37 - The Cactus Flower Murder Case.

I never hear people talk about this one, but it still gets me every time. It's the scene where the woman is in her car remembering meeting her fiance and the life they were building together, and then finally the accident that took it all away. Tears me up every time, and I hate so much that those two assholes just get away with what they did. But then the whole point of the episode is forgiveness. That you can't live for revenge. So there's that.

That episode is pretty sad but it kinds of fails to really hit me because her fiance also really was an idiot when driving. Should have just slowed down or stop the car instead of playing at 'who's the dumbest' with the other 2...

A tragic one was the one where Kogoro and family attends an engagement party, and the wife-to-be dies in a car explosion.

(Oh right... the Amuro introduction one)

I never thought that one was so sad, only because it was made so obvious that they were siblings at the start

There was an earlier episode where I think some girl ended up killing her sister, although Conan revealed that the Sister didn't do anything wrong, and then the killer tried waking up her dead sister in the tub I believe. That one was one of the saddest I can remember.

The saddest ones for me is Episode 667-668 and 675-676. I cried so much when I saw Episode 667-668.

I've gotta agree with a lot of people and say Amuro's introduction case. The idea of feeling so disgusted with your body, your own DNA, to want to destroy every last piece of yourself is just horrifying. It was also one of the more gruesome deaths, because burning to death is one of the scariest, most painful ways to go. That one affects me still, every time I think about it.
My DC Fanfic: Awaking and Arising - Shiromi writes her version of the end of the series. With 100% more lesbians and immortal zombie boys. And existential crises. Lots of them.
Kogorou - A character study that seeks to answer the question: Why is Kogorou the way he is?
A Kindred Spirit - Sonoko and Makoto realize that they have more in common than previously realized.

Akai's death
Akemi's death
And all of the other sad cases just mentioned. I am very susceptible to crying. The one I actually cried the most on was Akai's death though.
