Character Flaws

Post by Moriarty »

I hope there is not a topic like this already. . . .

If you have ever noticed any flaws in character appearances, speech, personalities, or even flaws in some of the cases, share them here.

In the first "Metropolitan Police Detective Love Story", when the man goes into the next room to put the bookshelf back up, the books should have been scattered, but it took him basically two seconds to put it back up and hide the tape and nail. . .

Normally if a bookshelf falls, all the books fall out of it.

I haven't counted to the last second in the anime, but at least in the manga, one of the reasons Conan stated to be suspicious was in fact that the body was visible but he waited a while to scream... Also if was almost empty with only the top level with books, so is not that far-fetched.

...Kid's hat never seems to come off when he's flying. Does he use supergluie or something? o_o

Also, IMO, the biggest flaw in the series would be it's insane length o_o If I were Gosho, fillers would never exist.

Hughes: Ah, so you've seduced your mechanic? Not bad, midget.

I don't get this argument because either the manga cases are almost always too awesome to care or Gosho has nothing to do with anime filler.

Regardless of that, this series will be even better for people who watch/read it once it is finally finished because waiting can get kinda annoying (especially for this series).

I meant that, if I were Gosho, I'd focus only on the BO aspect.

Ever thought that maybe he has a reason for all those in-between episodes?
Personally I love its length.  There's plenty to watch and plenty more to come. If you cut out everything but the BO episodes then it would be WAY too short.  And besides, what about all the character development that goes on in the in-between episodes?

This isn't much of a flaw, but

in episode 249 (the one I am at. . .), Yoko-chan is singing the insert theme "Bloody Venus".

Show wise, I thought that song was made by a band that appeared in an earlier episode?
