1)Kogoro is now too polite in his wordings.
2)Animation in the first scene where Kogoro interrogates Toshiya vs his speach is terrible. ie. Mouth moving without words vice versa
(Same thing happened in Movie 12 where the Singers sing english songs)
3)Conan's voice is different as well. Somehow...
4)Meguri's voice is different
5)Animation or graphics seem off. Face shapes of Kogoro in some scenes etc.
6)Takagi's face and speach pattern is off. Same face shape different as well.
Overall I think its quite a disappointing episode. I hope the others won't be made this way. Although the first few scenes of E554 seems to be just as bad. =( really sad it ended up this way. Or maybe it just takes getting used to. But even their sentence structure is different. ie speech pattern and etiquette.
I've always admired Conan episodes to be always improving in graphics and sound from the shows 15 years ago til now. I have most of the episodes and E553 has really fallen under my expectations. Colouring is similar to previous but generally everything is off.
My only explaination of this is that the machinery used to record sounds have changed thus, everyone's voices are now recorded differently. I mean changing one guys voice is inevitable after so many years but... so many other things seem to have changed in this episode... sigh. oh well. Enough ranting, I'll still watch Conan even after this but...
I think the future ending will be Ai will make the cure. There's only 1 cure. Gives it to Conan so that he can return to normal and Ai will remain as a child to re-live her life once again cos she had no past and no childhood due to being stuck with the BO.
