What DC episodes to combine?

Post by CoolKid3 »

I'm currently combining related episodes using movie maker and so far only the obvious related episodes (e.g. part 1 & 2 and case & resolution chapter types of episodes) are the ones I've combined. Probably I would also combine the DC mini series Metropolitan Detective Love Story and Clash of Red & Black. However for the other BO episodes, I'm having some difficulties what to combine or how to arrange them. As for KK episodes I'm not so sure which episodes are related if ever there are related ones.

What I'm really after are some seemingly unrelated episodes but have some similarities even in your own perspective. For example, I'm thinking of combining Megure's Locked Away Secret and Gingko colored 1st love because they tackle about the past of some characters. I would also search for other episodes with similar story type...

Could someone help me with this one? Any suggestion would be highly appreciated

Thanks,
J.CoolKid1412

Should I ask what the point of this is?

Either way, what the hell are you gonna do with Metro Love Story 4, which also has BO stuff?

I'll just use the suggestions as a guide... I also thought of the possibility that an episode would fit two or more categories... In that case, I can either include that episode on both categories or choose 1 which outweighs the other using my own judgment...

It's for future rewatching purposes... I don't like watching the same opening and ending songs over and over so I'm deleting them while combining the episodes... I know even when I'm too old in age, I'll never grow tired of DC... So I have to exhaust my resources today for the future... I'm also anticipating that my child(ren) (in case I'm not sterile) would also love DC so I'll make it easier for them to watch it...

No offense meant, if you think it's pointless then just don't reply...

I don't see why you would want to combine the episodes. If you want to have a group of similar episodes, you could just put them in a folder. Media players make it easy to skip the intros and endings.

I'm not sure if Movie Maker has multi-plexing, but you're probably re-encoding them, losing quality along the way. VirtualDub is a much better tool here, and it should be able to do what you want to do while keeping the quality up (direct stream copy video/audio).

Combine them all into one giant 200 hour epic.

I divided this way:
-Episodes of the love story of the Metropolitan Police, including some that are not, but go about it-(146-147-156-157-205-206-253-254-301-302-304-358 -- 359-390-391-401-402-431-432-449-487-530-531-532-533-534-535)

-Episodes of the mystery of Jodie (226-227-230-231-271-272-277-278-338-339-343-344-345)

-Clash between red and black (491-492-493-494-495-496-497-498-499-500-501-502-503-504)

As I think of one more go editing

There are times when the episodes I downloaded are of low quality so I convert them to a better one then trim and combine... Sometimes I'm only able to download in parts (especially in movies) so I need to combine them into one file... Maybe my OCD works here that's why I want to combine episodes... But it's really for personal collection purposes...

I'll check out this program... My brotha also told me that his friend suggested another program to trim and combine videos...

Thanks for this... I actually never thought of combining Jodie-related episodes... This is why I asked for suggestions (So that I can see other angles of DC...)
