Yeah, that actually messed up a few DB scenes, with Ayumi's being the biggest. In it's original flow, it had Ayumi being cute by taking a dozen plates of the same dish because Conan said he liked it(he used a pun when the Dbs caught what he was saying to Ai). The new flow the anime used turned Ayumi into obsessive girlfriend once again by making Conan eat several plates of her favorite dish.

haha yeah, I think Conan said something about squid, and then Ayumi grabbed like 10 dishes of squid.

Conan can't have free will as a boyfriend, either with Ran, Ai, or Ayumi.
