Guys i have some questions arise regarding dc. Here are some of those. Why the schedule for the show change to saturday, the orginal aired time for dc was monday 7:30pm i think. It was change to 7pm and now to saturday. What do you think the reason behind this. My second question is why dc aired the show in segmented title. What i mean is this, until episode 479 there are no 2hrs special aired even though there are story has potential for this special just like the furikazan and murderer kudo story.

Low ratings are the reason for both. NTV decided to replace Conan's old (and many years running timeslot) with a sports program to help the network stay afloat. Conan was moved to Saturdays because of that.

Specials are becoming very, very rare because to run specials over the usual time, you need to have advertising funds. If they aren't there for the 30 minute version, they aren't gonna be there for the 1-hour version.
