Yeah.. just a punch.. but the only thing about this is that it still doesn't neccessitate Camel's involvement with the BO.. he could be working for a completely different operation..

(well basically, there can only be 2 reasons for knocking Jodie out.. One, that he works the BO and was keeping her quiet(though if was trying to really keep her quiet.. wouldn't he kill her?) or two.. that he works for another organization(CIA my guess) and was keeping Jodie safe by leaving her out of the "van plan")

That's true, although I first thought he was a bad guy, now I'm having second thoughts, We'll see how it turns out ^_^

Haha I've already read all the manga, but that's pretty much close to what I wanted to say when I read it. Only from the beginning I kinda figured out about Camel. Rena=Hidemi=CIA was also easy. But the Ethan/Hidemi scene was rather shocking. I mean, I just felt sorry for her. It was practically suicide, and all, but she was forced by her own father to kill him. O.o poor Hidemi. it surprised me that she was going to look to kogoro of all people to protect Eisuke  I do wonder what would've happened if she had sent that mail.

I was very satisfied by the 500th episode  And I'm glad it answers so many questions. Now all that's left is the aftermath, ne?

Maybe the P.S. on Akai's phone is a request for him to take care of Akemi's sister in case she's killed by the B.O.

In ep.345 he said that it's not yet time for Haibara to see him right?

Something still bothers me about Camel though, remember the first time we saw him he was talking on the phone. Then he told Jodie that it was his wife. Afterwards when he offered to drive the bomb, he said that he had no one to care about him (or something to that effect).

This makes me believe that there's more to him that we will find out later. Maybe I'm just over-analyzing

I've yet to bother reading the manga yet.. But I want to agree with you in that Camel is not just an ordinary FBI agent. Unless of course we are over analyzing it and that was just a screw up on his part of the cover up working with Akai.
