Random drabbles... Scars ??

It is just a random thought i came across when i was re-reading old volumes...

In vol 24, footstep into darkness arc, Haibara adult form (Shiho) got shot viciously by Gin on top of the roof.. That kind of deep wound would surely leave some scar..

But on the next volume, casting aside her body, we couldn't see any of the scar on her face . I'm sure a bullet grazed her face, since she got her cheek bandaged...
And i also remember on the following volume where Ai first opened herself to Ran, she was wearing swimsuit at the beginning of the stories, and i don't see any scar on her sleeve..
I wonder, and do you also think, maybe because right after the shooting she got shrunk again since the paikaru effect wore off, thus made her scar disappear ?

yeah, i think its exactly what you said.

when she shrunk, the scar shrunk together with her body. so it became smaller or even invisible
