Fantasy Football? Interest gathering topic
Jd and I are considering making a yahoo fantasy football league. Would there be enough interest from Conan forumers who would stick with it and not give up three weeks in?

to kleene:
basically, you make a team of players (actual athletes), and as the season goes on, it scores you based on how those players are doing in the actual season, and you can trade players and stuff like that. So basically you're playing as the manager of a team, trying to get the best team by the end of the season.
well, to be fair I've never done it before, but that's my understanding of it.

Well, I would join But I don't know anything about the players. SO my team would be made based on pure randomness and I bet it would fail horribly then

Indeed, you'll likely need to be from North America to have any clue as to what's going on. Otherwise, you'd prolly be entirely lost.
