Runescape is almost dead

Seriously... Used to play it since before G.E came out somewhere from 2006 till 2011, then I came back in 2012, it was filled with nonsensical updates, making game easy for everyone, more grinding, you could buy xp with real life cash from SoF (the company used to say that they dont want players real life wealth to affect how succesful they are in game) and now evolution of combat ruined the game in 2012, I quit before that.. Runescape 3 came out afterwards with more nonsense and now you can buy "Bonds" for about 4,50€/1, 10 packs are max per trade... Bonds can be sold to another players and their current prices go for over 7,5M coins in game apparently. Maxed people can PvM 2m/h, or buy 10 bonds and sell for over 75M and save almost 40 hours of killing monsters for bones or something? Lol.

The player count has gone from 250000 online to 35000 too. I hope the game doesn't have much longer left because it's only good in my mind for nostalgia, because I can't get that feeling off of playing it anymore when Evolution of Combat turned it into just another hotkey spam MMORPG like any other, but many times worse and laggy.

MMOs are stupid. Runescape was an MMO. Runescape is stupid.

Too much has changed for me to ever play again :V

Ok I lie, I went on for a day over the summer while feeling nostalgic. I lost interest in it long ago. :-X

I agree, but sometimes isn't it fun to play a game for nostalgia purposes? That is why companies continue to make money off of replica games of old.
