Mafia Round 66.6: The Triangle Rules All (Night 4) BO "wins"

Sorry for being so late D: I got home shortly after phase change and started writing the story down (I had written it on a writing pad in school) but halfway through I realized I had to include Kleene into the story in a different matter since she joined the game later than the rest :x Also, reason I was late to begin with was because dad forced me to go to the library for him, he was pretty upset I didn't go yesterday and was all cranky. I don't like a cranky dad, he gets hard to live with. SOOOOOOORRY! It won't happen again! I swear!!!!!!! D:

Cinnamon stares at spot where the driver just had been. Clearly she was insane, mad and about everything that describes an unstable state of mind. And what had been the deal with her eyes?

“What game was she talking about...? And what did she mean by 'played to death'” Gordan asked with a raised eyebrow.

KL groaned in pain, having hit her head at the seat in front of her as she had lunged forward. “Lets just get of before the mad driver comes back and tries to drive us all to death again...” she carefully touched her aching head, looking a bit nauseous.

The group agreed that it'd be way more comfortable to get off the bus and easier to talk. They were happy to find that the door had managed to remain unharmed in the crash, they hurried out of the bus, walking a few meters away as if it would attack them at any second. Just a quick look at the exterior of the bus made them sure that it wouldn't start again.

“We should just leave this place. The driver, and Memesu, can't keep us here against our wills. I'm sure everyone brought enough to drink, and hopefully something to eat, so we could survive a walk for a day or two while looking for another town.” SA said, half to herself, half to the group. They all muttered in agreement, they couldn't be too far away from civilization. Someone was bound to help them.

“Lets leave as soon as possible then, I just need to get my bag from the bus. It'll be like a camping trip, without the camping.” Raven said with a smile, wanting to stay positive in the dire situation. Some of the others also started walking towards the bus again to get their bags. Yuri reached the bus first and stepped inside just as ground started to shake and they could hear painfully loud thumps, as if some giant was running.

A loud roar made everyone turn in the direction of the forest behind them and what they saw shocked them greatly. A giant gnome was running in their direction while roaring at the top of it's lungs. Everyone scattered and ran out of the giant gnome's way. It stopped in front of the bus and slowly lifted it up with both hands.

Yuri who was still inside fell out through the open door, unable to move since she was terrified, she could do little else but stare at the giant gnome. Despite her panicked state she notice that it wasn't one giant gnome but several small ones that formed a giant one. The bus was lunged away and the so-called giant gnome ran after it, as if playing.

The rest of the group formed around Yuri, clearly out of breath, panicked and scared. They weren't sure what to think in this situation. This place was strange. Why had they been taken here?

“AHAHAHAHAH! I told you I was going to make you play!” The group turned abruptly, expecting that the driver was back, but instead there was a woman they had never seen before. She grinned madly with her eyes closed.

“Who are you?” Absol demanded, staring at the woman dubiously. It was clear that no one in this place could be trusted. Absolutely when a complete stranger came up to them and acted like they had met before, talking and grinning like the mad driver.

The woman opened her eyes, showing that she had vertical pupils like the driver had had. “I'm your game master, of course. But it's not the real me you're seeing. I'm possessing the body of a woman I found walking around the the edge of the town. It was clear she wanted to join the game too~”

Dumytru clenched his teeth, the situation was just getting more and more bizarre. “Why are you doing this to us? And what was with that giant... gnome thing?”

“I was bored and asked for payment for some... favours I've done. I've made up a game for you, it's pretty simple. Try to kill each other, the survivors gets to leave! HAHAHAHAHA!” A strange light surrounded the woman before she collapsed to the ground.

Gordan stared at her, wanting to check if she was alright but was at the same time worried that he'd be attacked if he did. The woman had after all just told everyone to kill each other while laughing manically. Slowly she sat up, looking around in confusion.

The group gasped. Her eyes looked completely normal now. The vertical pupils were gone, replaced by regular round ones.
“Who are you?” SA asked without taking a step forward, still wary of the strange woman who now looked like she suffered from a severe headache.

“My name is Kleene...”

'Coz I thought phase change was 9am(PT) for me but it looked like I saw updates being posted at 10am(PT). Either way, I may still be sleeping at both said times so it doesn't matter xD

SA startled jumps a few feet into the air and puts up a defensive stand once calm again. “Blimey! So ye found me out─I mean, I dun know what yer talkin' about, lass. I'm innocent, innocent I tell ye!”
Most of the gathered gave the boy a dubious look, but then a few nodded approvingly taking his side and cheered him on. The rest carefully remained neutral as they watched the exchange.

The group was tense, no one knew what to do. The time seemed to stay still while at the same time it seemed to race away. It was forever before someone finally spoke. "How did you get here, Kleene? Before being... Possessed...?" SA sounded skeptical as he said the last part, clearly believing she was trying to fool them.

" I needed to get into town for a meeting, a different town than this one, obviously. I had missed the bus but I got a ride from this... Memesu person. I... Fell asleep in the way, when I came to I was over there, by the water tower." She pointed towards a water tower made of wood. A big muffin was spray painted on it. "I walked around, then... I don't know..."

It takes a few hours for the original group to trust the fact Kleene really wasn't part of the lunatic crew that stranded them there, but everyone was still wary of her. "So we lost most of our water, which probably was the reason of the... Gnome incident, but we can still leave. I'm not staying." Dumytru exclaims, he grabs his bag and leaves.

The rest of the group follows suit and heads into the forest, getting further away from the town. The deeper into the forest they go, the darker it gets. The roots of the trees seems to move and make them trip on purpose, the trees seems to move as well hiding the group from each other. They walk on for what feels like hours.

"This is pointless," Yuri shouts so the others will hear, the trees are in the way, making her unable to see anyone else. "This forest clearly isn't normal. Nothing in this place seems to be."

"I couldn't agree more." Absol calls back, sounding rather shocked. "There's a huge butterfly flying around. And I mean REALLY huge. Who knows what else could be around here, I think we were safer in the town."

KL frowned when she heard this. "So we'll just give into the raving lunatics. There's not a chance in-" her voice suddenly had a complete change of tone, she let out a pained scream a then went unnaturally silent.

The trees suddenly lifted their roots from the ground revealing feet made of wood. They moved so the group could see each other again, revealing that they had been closer to each than they thought.

"Where is Kaito Lady?" Cinnamon asks, her voice trembling. She looked around and noticed something golden sticking out of a bush, two meters away from her. "What is that?"

SA slowly approached it. "It's... It's Kaito Lady! Or... At least it's a golden statue of her." With the help of Kleene he managed to get it to stand up. The statue of KL had a twisted expression of pain across it's face, an ax was halfway through her throat.

"What the..." Gordan couldn't believe what he was seeing. "It is a statue, right? Where is she? The real her..."

"Ahahahaha! You're all so gullible." A voice said as a blinding flash surrounded them. When they could see again, the area around them had turned black and white.
