Quick question: are we aiming for everyone battling at a certain level? Is it going to be limited like when you battle in the Institute and such, where all pokemon are level 50 or below automatically? I'll come up with a challenger team sometime soon, but I'm trying to figure out how to prepare.

The game itself sets all levels to 50 for wifi battles, so all battles will be with level 50 pokemons regardless of the in-game levels.

The only other possibility is if both challenger and gym leader agree to set the rules to No Restrictions, where levels remained unchanged. This example is only applicable if both trainers wish to battle with pokemon in level 100, which of course they must have ingame first.
