Togop, I'm asking 'cause I don't know, really I don't. Did you know I was your Informant?
"Vad ska jag annars vara?" - "Det vet jag inte. Det måste du svara på. Men om du släpper allt du tror att du måste, och frågar dig vad du vill... Vad vill du då?"

Re: ESPIONAGE: Round Four (Last Day of Round Four!)
Togop's red picture looks so ominous there--so suitable. So very suitable. As expected, though, we never had a chance to win this one; Togop played the role way too well and it ended way too soon. Even if Fujiwara and I had combined forces, I don't see us having arrived at that conclusion (googleearth would have been far more likely). I started to wonder what Togop was thinking at various points with those theories, but I figured he was just misguided entirely, not that he was doing it intentionally.
Lemme just leave you with this chilling post from the very first page of this topic:
Also: Togop, any sort of diary to share? Why no kill Day 1, what happened with Ansai, the orders, etc. Good job again!

Congratulations are in order to both Togop and googleearth, with apologies to Fujiwara. I'll be throwing down on the inactivity problem very soon.Togop wrote:I'll play too. Give me the spy.

Re: ESPIONAGE: Round Four (Last Day of Round Four!)
I had Togop in my investigations both times and dumytru can confirm I had him down as the Spy once I was out (though on that time there wasn't that much evidence, as it built up a bit later when looking at his interactions and using process of elimination). How depressing :x.
And sorry for getting killed. I always try to act as decoy as a Civilian and I thought not doing so would make it evident that I was in fact the Detective. Last round, was it Togop who thought I was the Detective as well? Or was that someone else?
The list trick was exactly the sort of thing I would consider doing though :x.
EDIT: Didn't really have down bash at all though ^^;. I thought it was too blatant to be true with the disrupting the plans. As in, I thought Informants/the Spy would hold back from being so obvious. Then again, at that stage acting as a decoy for the Spy would actually mea- yeah, not going any deeper into that reasoning.

It's funny because I thought Togop was suspicious from a very early stage...
Of course, no one shared my beliefs.

I'm meeting up with some friends now, but I'll be around in a few hours for some post-game discussion.
@Jd: I'd love an actual explanation of why you were so convinced of my evilness and why I was unable to change your mind. But, yeah, no hard feelings.
I agree that given the opposing team and the early demise of our detective, our chances would've been slim even if we'd worked together. XD
Also looking forward to Togop's and bash's thoughts.

(I had loads of reasons, but if I'd have remained alive I would have doubted too much to actually obtain a lynch on him)

Argh. Just woke up. (Yes I overslept, sorry.)
All the discussion in here seems to happen in the morning my time, so I miss it because I'm asleep. Then phase change happens not that long after I get up....
Congrats to the spy and informants!

I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.
The Case of the Midnight Channel
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."

Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!

Re: ESPIONAGE: Round Four (Last Day of Round Four!)
Basically, it came down to a lack of better options and needing some form of action. When you had accused me, I decided to go with it harder to avoid being arrested myself and see where it took us. At that time, I figured that the Spy and any Informants could take the chance to get me out of the game as well as any bystanders that just came by, skimming for a vote suggestion, and sending it in. Unfortunately, though, I definitely did not expect Stopwatch to die at that time. If she had not died, things would have been a lot less time-intensive and probably would have gone a different way.Fujiwara wrote:@Jd: I'd love an actual explanation of why you were so convinced of my evilness and why I was unable to change your mind. I also still consider my return at the end to be fair and fine, since (as I said before the phase ending) there was literally no reason for us to handicap the entire civilian effort by doing nothing if we were both civilians. I knew I was a civilian, naturally, so it seemed self-defeating for me to just not do anything when the possibility (however slim) was still on the table that you could be the Spy. However, I didn't want to come out and accuse someone new as far as voting because while I was sure that googleearth wasn't on the civilian side, he just wasn't going to be arrested and probably wasn't the Spy due to sticking his next out so much, so it just didn't seem worth it to start up a whole new argument at the end. It wasn't anything about what you'd done or hadn't done at that point; just trying to avoid people literally self-voting on purpose in the most important phase of the game. Beyond that, I wanted to post that it was really obvious that googleearth wasn't a civilian before it was revealed so that people would not forget that moment; it wouldn't have had nearly the same impact if it were just mentioned later as opposed to per-reveal. In the future, people should definitely watch out for that sort of tactic.

Well, it was just a feeling, just as I had a feeling you were probably the detective.Stopwatch wrote:Did you say any reasons? O.Yuri Iwamoto wrote:It's funny because I thought Togop was suspicious from a very early stage...

@Seed12: Why that post? Definitely helped, if only a tiny bit, to just derail the civilians. It didn't really do anything in the end, but it certainly didn't help your side. Trolling?
@googleearth: Were there no orders at all, just hard to identify yourself with, etc. etc.

No, I just wasn't paying enough attention during day 1 and day 2 and looked over the entifications. As of day 3 I knew bash was my second informant... I don't have a diary per se, but I'll post a recounting soon.

I presumed the list thing was due to you knowing Ansai was the Informant and so couldn't be the Detective. Was that not the case then...?Togop wrote:No, I just wasn't paying enough attention during day 1 and day 2 and looked over the entifications. As of day 3 I knew bash was my second informant...
