DAY 1 ENDS.

"Purple?" asks Red, who is confused by this turn of events.

"I thought you died?" asks Green.

Purple shrugs. "I guess I didn't?"

"The Shield seems to regenerate you guys when you die," Zilda explains. "Truthfully, I had no idea how it works when I gave it to you. But now we know, and that's the important part. Now! We really do need to get to Kakariko Village. Let's go."

The other three Lenks seem unconvinced, but they don't really want to argue with Princess Zilda, either.

The road to Kakariko Village is longer than it should really be, because the Lenks stop every few hundred feet to be distracted by the wildlife or a particularly interesting rock, but they finally arrive around dusk.

"Purple has been looking at me funny the whole way here," Blue complains once they settle into Kakariko Village for the evening.

"Yeah, Purple is weird," Green agrees.

"We shouldn't let him come with us anymore," Red decides.

Collectively they decide to lock Purple in a separate room at the inn.

"I feel much safer now," Blue says once the task is done.

"Really, Lenk?" Zilda asks with an exasperated sigh. "Is that the best way to solve this? You guys have weapons, right? Why not just protect yourselves if Purple tries anything funny?"

"No, I like our plan better," Green says definitively. "Besides, I didn't get a weapon, just an ocarina."

"I got a hookshot," says Blue. "What am I gonna do, disembowel them?"

Red frowns. "I got a bow, but no arrows. How's that gonna help us? How are we gonna protect ourselves from Purple's hammer?"

"Yeah, why did Purple get a hammer?" Green complains.

"You three are hopeless," Zilda sighs. "I'm going to get something to eat."

The Lenks agree with the plan to get food, and head out with Zilda. They find a suitable fire and cooking pot, but just as Red is leaning over the pot to put the food in, they lose their balance and fall into the fire, burning to death instantly.

Red [MoonRaven (Akemi)] has died. reads the Shield, which Zilda has taken back for safe-keeping (and because the Lenks can't be trusted not to impale themselves on it or something).

Seven lives remaining. Potential enemy deployed.

NIGHT 2 BEGINS.

Kleene Onigiri was arrested.
MoonRaven (Akemi) was lynched. No will was left.

NIGHT 2 ENDS.

It's less startling this time when Red's body disappears in a puff of smoke and reappears nearby in perfect health, but Blue and Green are still on edge.

"Red?" Blue asks, approaching Red slowly, as if afraid Red will attack them.

"Hi, Blue!" Red greets, smiling. "Are we eating? What's for dinner?"

"Excuse me," a new voice cuts in, and the Lenks and Zilda turn to the newcomer. "Did someone say dinner? I don't suppose you have room for one more?"

The newcomer is similar in body shape to the Lenks, but their tunic is pink, their hair is black and they're wearing a weird mask over their face.

"Well, we did lock Purple up, so I suppose there's an opening in our party," Green answers tentatively. "But I'm not sure-"

"Of course you can join us!" Zilda insists. "The more the merrier, after all!"

Blue doesn't seem like they want to agree with the plan, since they don't even know the new person, but Zilda won't have any arguments.

"What is your name?" Zilda asks as they all sit around the cooking pot once more, this time with Zilda being the one to do the cooking (really, the Lenks can't be trusted to do anything without dying, can they?).

"It's a secret to everyone," the stranger answers. "Just call me the Unhappy Mask Salesman."

"Unhappy?" Zilda questions. "Why are you unhappy?"

The Unhappy Mask Salesman shrugs. "It's just the title."

"What kind of masks do you sell?" Red asks warily.

"Oh, all kinds! Do you want to try one? For a fee, of course." The Unhappy Mask Salesman replies excitedly. He reaches into his bag and begins pulling out several masks of various colors and sizes. "This one will disguise you from bokoblins, and this one will blow up your face, and this one makes you invisible, and can you help you locate forest spirits-"

"What about this one?" Green asks, picking up a yellow headband with rabbit ears attached to it.

The Unhappy Mask Salesman snatches it away from Green in an instant. "Not that one! That one is very special to me. You can't use it."

"I want to try this one," Red comments as they pick up the Bomb mask.

"I don't think that's a good idea," Zilda comments, but goes ignored by all.

"You certainly can! It'll cost you five hundred rupees per half hour," The Unhappy Mask Salesman answers.

"Five hundred?" Red exclaims. "Are you serious? Nobody has that kind of money!"

"Blue does," Green says, and Blue immediately hides a bag full of rupees behind their back.

"No I don't! And even if I did, you can't have it!"

"Sorry, but I have to make a living somehow. Even herrors have to pay for things."

Red spends several minutes arguing with The Unhappy Mask Salesman over the ridiculous price of the mask, which is only interrupted when Zilda announces that dinner is ready.

Dinner, thankfully, is mostly peaceful, the bickering having stopped long enough for them to shove food in their mouths. Red isn't happy with the outcome of the argument, but they decides to let it slide for now. They can discuss prices more in the morning.

They all retire for the evening after dinner, and settle to sleep quickly. In the morning, Red wakes up, intent on talking to The Unhappy Mask Salesman once more. They head to the stranger's room, only to find the door wide open and Green and Blue already inside, staring in horror at The Unhappy Mask Salesman's body.

"He's dead, Red," Green says, uneasy. "We just came in here to wake him up for breakfast, and he's dead."

The bag of masks sits open by the bed, appearing as if it's been rummaged through. Clearly, someone came in during the night to steal a mask, but none of them know the full inventory, so they wouldn't even begin to know what's missing.

On the bed, next to the Salesman's body, sits the yellow rabbit-eared headband. Blue picks it up and examines it closely. On the inside of the band is a name: Ruvio.

The Unhappy Mask Salesman [Yurikochan (Yukiko-Tome)] was killed.

DAY 2 BEGINS.

Night 1:
I walked out into the street, and realized how cold it was, then suddenly it was warm, so I started taking off my leggings, as they were on fire, I reached down and felt the heat on my chest when suddenly I flipped off my shirt as well, I had absolutely no clue when my skirt caught fire as well and off it went, I accidentally burnt down a building as well, so I ran back home naked. I apologize, my love.

Day 1:
Well I thought that would have happened, shouldn’t have danced naked in the streets and healed Conia, but I would have rather protected myself, like I did. Hey Sorry about that. But you still get to see me catching on fire in the street. Trying Abs as Anokata for the aptx as I have a feeling the person that killed Conia may be one of his usual killers.

Night 2:
Please tell me why I disguised as that guy, my face is going to start wrinkling it I stay in it too. Abs as Anokata was my aptx, I apologize I did not get to murder the boss, your boss, someone’s boss, oh well. Moon raven was found dead by a very happy Lynch mob, while me and Abs voted the same. I’m glad we couldn’t save Moon thankfully she was a poor evil girl that was caught up with the bad guys. Apparently tonight I was checking crimes, though I sent to check for CTU at Walmart...so maybe it made absolutely no sense, Ah well. Anyways, I was checking Henry killing Conia...but being dead is quite unhelpful, I apologize a lot. Remember the people that voted for Moon may all not have good intentions, it is however possible they do however. So just remember, be careful who you trust. ^^

DAY 2 ENDS.

"What do we do with the body?" Green asks cautiously.

"Leave it," Blue decides. "Take the masks, though. We might need those."

Red and Green gather the masks back into the bag while Blue goes to inform Princess Zilda of what happened. It's unfortuante that their new traveling partner died so suddenly, but there's nothing they can do about it.

After breakfast, Zilda informs them that she got the item she needed from Kakariko Village and that they should be on their way as soon as possible, as Princess Lenk is still in trouble.

Zilda, Red, Green and Blue leave Kakariko Village the way they came (a little slower than they would be otherwise, as they now have to carry Ruvio's bag of masks), using the western path that winds south and east. The trek isn't that exciting until they reach the stable near Dueling Peaks, where the stable owner seems frantic about something.

"You!" she shouts when she spots them. "Well, one of you! You did this!"

"I assure you, they've done nothing wrong," Princess Zilda argues. "They've been with me for the last two days."

The stable owner balks at the princess, surprised to see her there. "Princess Zilda! I'm so sorry, I meant no offense! It's just that someone that looks like one of them came through here last night and started blowing things up! Several of my horses got away. Thankfully, nobody was injured."

Green eyes Red suspiciously - after all, Red had wanted that bomb mask - and Red glares at them.

"It wasn't me," Red hisses under their breath. "I was sleeping!"

"While none of these three had anything to do with the unfortunate incident, I'm sure they would be more than happy to help you fix up any damages," Princess Zilda volunteered, gesturing to the three. "They're certainly capable of that. Probably."

And so, the next several hours are spent gathering wood and helping to repair the damages someone made to the stable. Green even goes out to try to catch the horses that escaped.

It's surprisingly peaceful, all things considered.

Meanwhile, from the shadows, someone watches them, preparing the next move.

NIGHT 3 BEGINS.

Nobody died.

NIGHT 3 ENDS.

Exhausted and hungry, the Lenks and Princess Zilda settle down to eat once more. This time, food has been kindly given to them by the stable workers, on the owner's orders, as they've actually been pretty helpful, despite all odds.

Still, though, Princess Zilda can't shake the feeling that they're being watched. More than once, she caught movement out of the corner of her eye and turned, expecting one of the remaining Lenks to be there, but there was no one. It's putting her on edge, feeling like she needs to look over her shoulder every moment to make sure no harm comes to her group.

As she eats her dinner, she eyes everyone warily, wondering just who it could be that might have not-so-kind intentions for them, shivering as a sudden gust of cold air sends chills down her back.

Just to her left, she catches that movement again, expecting nothing once more. She lets out a startled gasp, though, when she sees The Unhappy Mask Salesman sitting there, as if nothing is wrong, as if he didn't just die.

He's kind of translucent, though, which is weird.

"I can't believe you guys left me behind," he complains loudly, causing the Lenks to all stand, dropping their food to the ground, swords at the ready. "I thought we were traveling together?"

"You can't be here!" Red insists.

"Why not?" Ruvio asks, confusion evident in his voice. "It's a stable. Anyone's allowed unless the owner says otherwise."

"You're dead," Blue points out.

Ruvio's head tilts to the side. "Why would you think that?"

"We saw your body this morning!" Green answers. "You were dead! And now you're all -- ghostly!"

Ruvio lifts his hand in front of his face -- or the mask that covers it -- staring right through it at Green. "Oh. This is awkward. But I'm not dead, or else I wouldn't be here!"

"No, I'm afraid you're dead," Zilda says, then adds, "Probably."

Ruvio's shoulders slump in obvious disappointment. "Well... can I still come with you guys? Maybe I can be helpful? I can, like, go through walls or something? Check things out?"

"Of course n--" Blue starts, but Zilda cuts them off.

"Of course you can," she answers. "We might need the help, honestly. And we should be leaving soon."

That settled, they finish their dinner quickly and pack their things, tired, but still needing to cover more ground as soon as possible.

Things go fairly well for them for awhile, as they pass through the split mountain of Dueling Peaks, then follow the river west. Once they cross the bridge, though, they turn off the path, as it will only add extra time to their travels, and that's when things start to go downhill.

Zilda still feels as though they're being watched, even though she had wanted to chalk it all up to Ruvio's ghostly presence.

Red clearly also feels on edge as they take their sword out and begin swinging it wildly around, hitting various structures and trees until, suddenly it snaps in half.

"Oops," they mumble, dropping the broken pieces to the ground. "Hey, Blue, can I borrow your sword?"

Before Blue can say anything, though, there's a loud BOOM! nearby, followed by a huge cloud of smoke rising into the air.

"I'm gonna go check that out!" Blue says, but just as they're about to take off, the nearest tree breaks and falls on them, killing them instantly.

"Crap," says Princess Zilda, looking at the Shield of Nine.

It reads: Blue (Paix672 [Irish-Shiratori]) has been killed. followed by Six lives remaining. Sword restored. Enemy approaches.

They all look up to see that Blue has been regenerated, of course, along with Red's sword, which appears to have been magically fixed.

But the thing that they're not expecting is another Lenk: this one wearing a black hat, tunic and boots and with pure white hair. He's also holding a bomb, so there's that.

DAY 3 BEGINS.
