Elevators may bring you down, but, to me, they're very uplifting.

A number of people that is probably too many crowd into the small elevator.

"I want to push the button!" says Raiden, even though he's at the back and can't possibly reach it.

"There isn't even a button to push," says Yurikochan, eyeing the place where the buttons would be warily.

Before any of them can comment further, the elevator starts moving slowly upward. None of them really know how long they're riding the elevator, but they're all starting to feel a little claustrophobic when it finally opens up.

The room they find themselves in after getting off the elevator is dim, but thankfully large, so they can spread themselves out after being stuck so close together.

(The sign on the wall reads 7.)

After a spending a few minutes recovering from the ride, miyano_shiho looks around. "I wonder what we're supposed to do in here."

"More doors, probably," replies dumytru.

cinnamoroll looks around, too. "I don't see any doors."

"I think I found something," shouts Kleene Onigiri from the other side of the room. She is crouching down, looking at something on the floor.

The rest of the group walks over to her to see what she's looking at. On the ground, there are two wooden doors, labeled A and B.

Memesu and miyano_shiho each reach down to pull one of the doors open, and they both reveal staircases.

"I guess that's our next decision to make."

One by one, the people who decide to climb down the rope lower themselves through the hole in the floor. Once they're all down, Jecka motions for them to follow her down the hallway they've been let into.

Several minutes later, they're about halfway to their next destination (because of course there's a door at the end of the hallway), having traveled in silence up to that point, when Henry Gordan notices something.

"Where's darkest absol?" he asks.

"She was right behind me a minute ago," says pofa from somewhere ahead of Henry. "She can't have gone too far away."

"Where would she have even gone?" asks Iwamoto Yuri. "There aren't any hidden paths that I've seen, and we've all been together the whole time."

The groups stops walking and looks around, but, sure enough, darkest absol (Sherry) is nowhere to be found.

"Maybe she got ahead of us somehow?" Kaito Lady says quietly.

Jecka nods. "Hopefully that's all it is. Let's keep moving."

But, once they reach the room, and pull open the door, the sign only reads 5.

"She really is gone, then," Henry Gordan whispers sadly as the door slams shut behind them.

"I just hope she's alright," says Iwamoto Yuri.

pofa shrugs and tries to get back to the task at hand. "There's nothing we can do about her now. We need to focus on getting out of this place." After a pause, she points at a set of doors on the opposite wall. "Look, I'm guessing that's our next decision." Above each door, they're labeled A and B.

Everyone goes through whatever door they chose (or whatever door I forced them through because they didn't choose), and maybe they go down a staircase or through a long hallway, and maybe it's dim (or perhaps not), but it doesn't really matter what you chose (or didn't choose), because...

Everyone ends up in the same place anyway.

That's right. I bet you didn't see that coming. TBH, I didn't either. I stopped having a clear story in mind after like Day 2.

Anyway. There's a sign that reads 47 because someone messed up the wiring and eventually they're gonna get that fixed.

Oh and someone tied Kleene Onigiri's wrists together and broke their own wrist in the process.

And everyone gets to use this time to rest or relax or murder each other. \o/
