you got number 5 right, she shot a picture, developed in water, and then hung on clothespin to dry.

#4 is a guess, and the best I can do at the moment. If it's airtight to the point where one cop would die, then I can't at the moment think of a way to survive. Wouldn't the other policemen be a robber?

Sorry for not checking this topic for too long. It must've slipped my mind. :D

Well, what 1337_Gaara said about #5 is correct, but #4 is kinda wrong. I doubt that a police officer would kill a fellow officer for his own sake, and most likely, he wouldn't survive an hour with a limited supply of air, especially after exciting himself with killing someone. The idea, just in case people are confused, is that the trunk is completely airtight, so he needed enough air to survive for the hour.

#4 The only other solution I can think of is that he shot a hole in the trunk and it rebound and hit the other officer.

The officer cannot be the thief since he states the thief/burgular threw them both in the trunk, and then one died and one survived.

#6 The only reason they would race is if she told them to switch camels, because then the person who got in first would win because the will said last camels and not last person  :D
#7 There is no missing dollar. $30 - $5 = $25 + $3 = $28 + $2 = $30 OR You subtract the 2 from the people's total, not add it which gives you $25, the amount in the register >.<

Right, but that wasn't my train of thought. My thought was more like the officer was IN on the robbery. Then he put the policeman in the trunk while he completed the rest of the robbery. Then he got in when the police were coming, unaware that the other officer had died. When they opened it up, he would be the only survivor.

This way, technically both policemen are in the trunk. May be a wrong answer but as I said, I haven't had time to come up with anything else

EDIT: I also realize this is wrong. I'm just trying to explain my train of thought. I know this answer doesn't fit with the riddle since we KNOW that both officers were in the trunk for an hour

another quick guess for #4- one policeman was thrown on top of the policeman and that's why he suffocated? I honestly don't know how long you could survive in an airtight trunk...

#4: There were two policemen were guarding the outside of a bank at night when a burglar broke in and threw them in an airtight car trunk. One hour later, the other policemen opened the trunk to find one alive and one died of suffocation. How did the policeman survive for the hour?
By "other policemen" does that mean other police officers, excluding the initial two that were guarding the bank?

#4 - one of the policemen was suffocated (strangled) and dead before being thrown into the trunk
