Re: Slow-Motion Mafia Round 1 (Night 1)
Start of Night 1
The BO...
Silently, the Night falls on Beika. Shadows begin to grow. Anyone still on the streets hurry towards home, towards safety. Everyone can feel the dreaded aura that is omnipresent in the town; in every street, in every house, in every alley. They all fear, though for now apparent reason, and bury themselves deep in their pillows. All, except a small number of people, who view those events not a message to hide, but as an sign that they are needed. Those few people now get ready for anything that might come...Everyone should have received a PM with his/her role or the result of their preparation actions. If someone didn't, or has any type of question, please PM me.
Night 1 will last until Wednesday, the 29th.
MAYOR VOTING
Every player should send a PM vote (stating a player's nickname) to the GM, saying whom they want to be the Mayor, until the end of Night 1. Nobody may vote for h.self. The person with the most votes will become the Mayor. The votes will be published. If there's a draw in the Mayor voting, nobody will become Mayor. A BO player can become Mayor.
The Mayor gains an additional half of a vote, so his vote counts as much as 1.5 votes.
NOTE:
You shouldn't simply vote, you should discuss for whom you vote; otherwise the BO has a good chance of deciding, as they'll most likely all vote for the same person.

will mayor votes be shown after the phase is over, or will the mayor just be announced?

Re: Slow-Motion Mafia Round 1 (Night 1)
Well, the next question is: Should we really announce in public who we are going to vote?
I mean... what happens if the BO kills the one who is going to be major right during night 1?
The more I think about it...
I don't want to be major at all. Any volunteers for this position?

Re: Slow-Motion Mafia Round 1 (Night 1)
If the mayor is killed, a new mayor is elected. So if you were elected Mayor and would also get killed at Night 1, a new mayor vote would be held at Day 1, parallel to the lynching vote. The new mayor's vote will count as 1.5 votes, even for the Day 1 lynching.Schillok wrote: Well, the next question is: Should we really announce in public who we are going to vote?

Also, don't overestimate the mayor. He only plays a role if there'd be a draw otherwise.

xpon definitely sounds like a good mayor. Then, if he ever causes a townie to be lynched, we can just blame xpon.

If he votes on the right person. If he votes on a third party it doesn't matter. Sorry if I am not supposed to write here.Callid wrote:If the mayor is killed, a new mayor is elected.
