Hm, kind of a tough one. I like both sequences (and both songs).  Sekai wa Mawaru to iu Keredo is kind of symbolic to me, but, Step by Step is more lighthearted and fun.

I guess for this one, I'll go with Step by Step.

Step by Step isn't bad and fits the beginning of the DC very well with it's unwary mood.
Sekai wa Mawaru to Iu Keredo on the other hand is much more serious and almost philosophical (if you read the lyrics^^). It has a nice animation as well, but the lyrics don't fit the animation  really well - what has Sato+Takagi to do with the philosophical problem of the pointlessness of life? The lyrics would fit Ai much better - she's the only character that may be considered philosophical.

I think I'll go with Sekai wa Mawaru to Iu Keredo anyway ^^

I love Garnet Crow so much I want to marry them, so I feel like a traitor, but I just didn't like Sekai that much--the song or the sequence. So, Step by Step. (Forgive me...I was poisoned by toxic nostalgia levels...)

Plus, SBS is a really great karaoke song. Not that I'd know.

i love it to, its the best end in my opinion
