I don't care about the animation, the song is pure epicness and win.
So again...
SHOUDOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
PS: Besides... I don't like 100 Mono Tobira animation that much... Reminds me too much of the Brady Bunch. And the song is not nearly as good as Shoudou.

I will admit I am partial to the opening of 18 (100 Mono Tobira). Shodou's always makes me think of psychedelic cytoplasm; however, I like Shodou as a standalone song better. And Shodou has the spiffy alternate op... choices, choices.

Hm... this is indeed a though decision, I pretty much like 100 mono tobira too. Hm... The special opening of Shoudou is great too. Gosh, it is a tie for me this time, I won't vote.
I never cared for the animation sequence for Shoudou, even though I do like the song okay (although, I prefer Girigiri to it for both song and sequence, as B'z was actually in it). Now the special intro for it was nice, but, since it was just that, a "special" opening, I'm not going to count it since 100 Mono Tobira didn't get the same treatment, and thus, would be unfair to pick based on just that.
As for 100 Mono Tobira, the song has always been okay for me and the sequence is "meh" to me, but I do prefer it to Shoudou's animation sequence. Maybe it's because of the goofiness of Yamamura or something.
Song wise, I don't prefer one over the other. Neither song is a favorite and both are songs where I could either take it or leave it, and most of the time, both get left.
I guess 100 Mono Tobira gets it.
