EDIT:  Mai Kuraki totally dominated Mai Kuraki in this round, leaving Mai Kuraki's entry standing triumphant overtop of Mai Kuraki's battered ending.  Congratulations to Mai Kuraki for this amazing win, and best of luck to her in the next round.
(Just watch..  Even with the change in tournament format, fate will probably end up pitting Always against Secret of My Heart just to be cruel)

Conan and Shinichi singing with a female voice at the end is one of the creepiest things to happen in this series.  :'(

Always is a better song anyway.

Definitely Always. I really disliked Start in my Life's clip and song too. Always is so-so, but still better by lightyears than Start in My Life.

Ironically, always was the first Kuraki Mai song I'd ever heard.  It was shortly after the single was released.  I didn't know at the time that it was used for Detective Conan.

Song wise, I do prefer always to Start in my life, but sequence wise, both are lackluster, so I'm going to have to pass on this.  I'd hate to vote based on song alone.  Seems it'd be biased to vote on that basis.

Voted for Always... Can't remember Start in my life... Always by (1) Erasure and (2) Atlantic Star (3) Bon Jovi also helped me choose... Always is a pretty abused song title, don't ya think?

IMO, Start in my life is a good song, but the sequence is kind of a boring one...but always had a lackluster sequence as well, imo.
