Although it wasn't necessary, during Case 3 while in the Wild Wild West area, there was a point where you could go to the front of the park and see them. However, because you didn't need to go there for evidence, it's easily missable.

Not So Fast! as someone who's played through the case twice, i can personally testify that this is not true, it's impossible to get to the front of the park until after you "find" lance, because lang's men keep you in the wild wild area

Fair enough, I don't have any evidence as to such on-hand at the moment. However, that does not change the fact that he lied for 15 years about a crime which he committed, which is just as bad. Actually, considering the circumstances of the crime, I consider it much worse.
