DC Movie Contest: "Captured in Her Eyes" vs. "The Raven Chaser"

I voted for Raven Chaser. But I liked both movies
Well, since they are movies, I don't expect any important information revealed anyway. But you still see some funny stuff or some characteristics from people pointed out

I agree some stuff was hilarious or not logical. But some stuff can be explained somehow.

Black Organization Failures.
- Failed to shoot down a kid using a helicopter.
You can't aim well with a helicopter. And the gun was scattering. The target was a kid, even harder to hit. And most important fact, Vodka was flying XD

- Chianti's *Bingo!* was retarded.
Well, for me it was fitting. Since Chinati is kinda retarded. But that's a personal opinion and opinions differ.

- Gin had a purple cellphone
Having a purple cellphone is bad? Well, it wasn't pink at least XD But the cellphone colors vary a lot too (like Gins hair)

- A helicopter was trashing the Tokyo Tower and no one gave a ****! (The Police decided they could stop a helicopter using ground units + they never went up the tower to help anyway)
Agree, that's strange. But you can't send something against a armed helicopter in 5-10min. And the helicopter was gone after that time. And they never mentioned, if people wondered about that helicopter or not. So it could have been in the news but it wasn't shown in the movie.

- Despite numerous sightings, Gin failed to identify the witness as a kid.
He just saw the shoe once. Then he didn't care who it was, because he thought that person will die anyway (helicopter > people )

- Vodka was careless (Stepping on paint)
It's Vodka. He made a lot of mistakes in the manga too.

- Conan pwned their helicopter via helmet.
Conan is Mc Guyver + Inspector Gadget. Well, it's a movie, and there were a lot of "stunts" already anyway (in previous movies). And it would be boring if there wouldn't be something "silly" like that. (well, I like when the movies have such stuff in that XD Since they are movies so you don't have to take them too serious )

- The whole Irish vs Conan skirmish was stupid and childish.
a) Conan going karate down the stairs.
Agree! Irish is able to fight against Ran, but get's kicked away by a child that weights like 30kg or something? There was a surprise effect tho. But still kinda off.
b) Irish's fail aim.

- Chianti and Korn's smart idea of sniping in the freeway (Carelessly bringout their sniper rifles for everyone to see)

Chianti exposed herself in public in that chapter too.

- The mystery sucked.
But I liked the puns XD

- Vodka's stupid smirk while pointing his gun at Ran's figure just as she was about to open the door. (Just shoot her already!)
Gin and Vodka usually smirk around for no reason (in the earlier chapters a lot). And Gin didn't want to snipe someone through a umbrella because the chance to kill him for sure is lowered. Guess they think the same about shooting through glass.

- Vermouth and her ill-tell-you everything attitude.
She thinks of Conan as a silver bullet. So I guess she wonders how much he can do with some information.

- Why the hell did the BO decide to shoot Tokyo tower given the fact that they're a vast,unknown and secret organization?
Uhm... Gin wanted to try out the helicopter?

- Failed to shoot down a kid using a helicopter.
You can't aim well with a helicopter. And the gun was scattering. The target was a kid, even harder to hit. And most important fact, Vodka was flying XD.
R: Still they were shooting him like crazy? They wasted like abagillion bullets on him. Even for Vodka that's a turret which sprays several bullets in a short period of time. For pete's sake Conan just had to duck and everything missed him. (All above his head forming a line).

R: Gin saw him several times although not entirely, that's why they're shooting him up the tower right. Gin saw him up the tower,Gin saw him jump,etc. I think that's enough for a smart guy like Gin to notice that his witness is a child. Oh and Gin obviously cared about this. Someone has witnessed the BO! A secret organization unknown to the public (Leave nothing behind/Destroy all traces) that's how the Org works. They can't afford a single witness. They even killed their own member for being caught killing someone (Pisco).

R: It's Gin's job to cover up their tracks. Being one of the Organization's top dogs it's his job to clean up/fix the mistakes of his subordinates. I understand Vodka's mistake but Gin shouldn't known better. Leave no trails behind, that's how the Org works.

Chianti's mistake in 704 was due to fake Akai's smirk. Because of this she freaked out and lost her position.Therefore, it's understandable. Besides, don't you think sniping on a bridge is a bit too open for a secret organization.

1) People are gonna notice that a car unusally stopped on that bridge.
2) They're gonna notice those sniper rifles.
3) They're gonna notice that another car stopped a few seconds later.
4) The car on the bridge leaves

- You'd think everyone would notice that, and the police could've seen the tower being shot at and called for some investigation even before actually arriving at the tower.

- Ideally, that's possible, but since the distance is so great and the helmet is so small, there should've been some air resistance. I guess Conan just defies the laws of physics. XD

- I'm still wondering why they decided to shoot at the tires, rather than just killing them, besides the fact that they were shooting out in the open. I guess to avoid unnecessary kills?

- Makes me wonder what Vermouth's true intentions are.
