I'm new in the fandom (even if I have liked DC for 10 years), so when I saw the Ayumi x Conan thread I got a little scared XD Need to drop a visit there to see if anyone is serious about it though

Serious, yes. But also realistic.

Everything indicates Shinichi and Ran will stay together until the end. Which doesn't mean that it is the best result (for either of them). Supporting Ayumi x Conan is much more fun.

But if Ran really died the chances for Ayumi would increase tremendously.

Though, I don't think I would enjoy it. I mean, it means that Ayumi was not able to win Conan/Shinichi over Ran in the end.

Ayumi is still 10 years younger than him, even if he's in Conan body. It is a little bit disturbing if you ask me, considering he knew Ayumi from the time she was little. And I don't even see that option in the pool?  Am I blind?

You won't find it in the pool. In the poll however, you will find it.
Anyway, it's all in the good spirits (yes, I know, it's very rare that there are good spirits in fandom), so you shouldn't take everything too seriously.

Well, you do have to remember that in fandom, you have to be open-minded towards certain things.

(--I would just like to pause for a second and wonder about this. Apparently I'm not deep enough in to the 'fandom' side of Detective Conan, because I had no idea that ShinichixKaitou KID was big enough to warrant making him disappear for the sake of variety--)

There are some people who are serious about it. And to be honest, I've seen much scarier pairings, so Ayumi with Conan doesn't seem that disturbing to me anymore. That's something. xD But that's the "beauty" of fandoms; the only bad side I can think of is the few trouble-makers who like provoking others.


Anyhow, voted for the less disturbing in my opinion: Sonoko. xD
