Nope. I actually ship Ayumi with Genta because otherwise the poor boy will end up either alone or with *gasp* AN EXTRA. Not to mention that Genta obviously likes her.Toast wrote:Dunno. Ehhh... better but I'm set on the idea that Conan will return to Shinichi, marry Ran, see how much Ayumi has grown up and see that she's with another man, realize he made a horrible mistake and return to Conan once he files a divorce with Ran.El Huesudo II wrote:Nope. Don't say it doesn't matter, it matters for Mitsuhiko and Haibara's case as I have explained in my previous post. Don't compare what you are saying with their case, THEY'RE NOT THE SAME.IHKF wrote: And it obviously doesn't MATTER when there are people getting married that are 12 or 13 years APART! XD
Those are all ifs. As I said earlier, you don't know how that would be. You're not really sure if Mitsuhiko will have that much strong feelings, he's still young by that time (about 18). He still has more to learn. He still can decide for his future.IHKF wrote:But that doesn't change who Haibara is. And the truth isn't only of her real age, it's about her past with the BO and what happened why she is in that state now. He didn't know anything about that and it would hurt him much.
If his feelings are strong enough to have stayed up until that point, I'm pretty sure he'd come to the conclusion: "No, Haibara is Haibara- no matter what she's been through or how much older she is.".
I think he'd be hurt that she kept it from him for so long, but he's probably ALREADY smart enough to understand why she did it at the age he is now- why wouldn't he in the future? I don't think there'd be much of an issue there. It'd just pull them closer together.
Also, Haibara/Shiho will also feel very sorry for Mitsuhiko, and knowing her attitude, she would most probably withdraw herself for the pain she'd caused him. Don't only think of Haibara/Shiho, think also of Mitsuhiko.

He ALREADY exhibits stronger feelings for her than most young boys would show their crushes at that age- which is a pretty strong hint right there that it's a lot more genuine.
EVERYTHING about his personality (kind, smart, mature for his age...) points to the possibility of him seeing past all of that. It's an if- but it's not a sloppy unsupported one.
Even if he's still young by that time he's still already ahead of the gander. And if it comes to a chick he's known for 10+ years... you know, it wouldn't be that hard to see past her past because sh'es still the same person. 8I
Yes, she will feel bad about lying to him- but chances are (if not Mitsuhiko himself) CONAN will point out it was for the best. Heck, Conan may point out to MITSUHIKO it was for the best. xD
(That would actually make for a pretty good friendship scene between the two... X3)
It's actually kind of more romantic that way, too. Therefor, more interesting (at least to me).
Once again, Mitsuhiko is ahead of the gander and while he does seem to think some girls are cute he always reverts back to the main two. xDProfParanoia wrote:Because if boy's are known to do one thing, it's be attracted to only one girl.I think Mitsu's crush on Ayumi will fade in time. Personally, I can easily see her choosing to stay a child to get back the childhood she never had and end up with Mitsuhiko.
