I agree that these two choises are the most probable popular choices:
Akemi because it was Shuu's girlfriend,and some people can't imagine him with an other girl,and for them it's impossible for a man to fall in love again well,they were a cute couple,so...

Jodie because she's the only woman who obviously loves him,plus she was his girlfriend before he met Akemi...in DC's world,Jodie is the perfect choice for him (but I still think they're funny together)

anyway,I added AkaixGin because some people like this couple,mostly because of the" koibito" thing...anyway,they had to work together in the past and I guess they were close,so why not...please Girl19 don't kill me

concerning Akaixconan,well,have you seen how they interact together?they always have the same ideas,they understand each other very well...a perfect couple

as for ShihoxAkai...as I said,I'm sure they were close when he was a BO member,maybe like a brother and sister...and I think Gosho is planning something great for their meeting

Akemi knew she was being used by Akai and kept loving him...
Akai kept loving her, even after her death. He would have gone back to Jodie if he didn't.

For me, this pairing is the best. They have mutual love.

Anyone else saw the connection:
Akai=Conan (just look at conias ava for "evidence" ;p), Akemi=Ran (they look alike and haibara and Akai get  reminded of Akemi when they see Ran) and Haibara=Jodie (both have a tragic past and didn't choose to run away from the BO (didn't take the offer for the witness-protection  program)

Imo you should add AkaixCamel :3 (tho I wouldn't vote for that) Because in the other topic there was GinxVodka too XD

But I always wondered, why everyone thinks that Akai and Sherry met each other face to face D: Because Akai shouldn't have been involved with the drug development. And it was never said that Akemi introduced Akai to Sherry either. But people take it as a fact that Akai met Sherry in the past (while still being in the BO)
