Decided to go with Yusaku, as he could beat Shinichi/Conan who in DC equates to Sherlock.

Re: Detective/Intellectual showdown poll
true he is known to show of his superior intellect and analytical skills when its necessary but, you also have to think of conan's wit when it comes to getting out of tight places such as the movie where hes stuck on a building in flames and is in a party room filled with bombs and a car and only as nutty as that sounds he wants to use the car and propel it to the other building which hes does perfectly. That alone deserves respect aye

Yeah, Conan can be resourceful given the situation.

hmmm no1 is showing love for kaitou for some reason i thought majority would have gone in his favor for the simple fact he always escapes from conan as well

But he also loses to Conan every time. It's hard to argue he's better than Shinchi when his plans always get seen through.!Gin! wrote: hmmm no1 is showing love for kaitou for some reason i thought majority would have gone in his favor for the simple fact he always escapes from conan as well

"The energies of our system will decay; the glory of the sun will be dimmed, and the earth, tideless and inert, will no longer tolerate the race which has for a moment disturbed its solitude. Man will go down into the pit, and all his thoughts will perish. The uneasy consciousness, which in this obscure corner has for a brief space broken the contented silence of the universe, will be at rest. Matter will know itself no longer. 'Imperishable monuments' and 'immortal deeds,' death itself, and love stronger than death, will be as though they had never been."

Kaitou is about even, probably slightly lower, than Shinichi/Conan in terms of intellect and wit.

Why are Agasa and Yukiko there? Ran has done more case solving than them, ignoring that fact doesn't change that fact.
Oh, and presumably Hattori is Heiji not Heizo, the latter of which should probably be in the poll, too...
Oh, and Yusaku is the obvious choice, if you've read the right chapters or seen the right episodes. (Though Heizo is probably supposed to be right up there with him. Final edit: {Eh, maybe Holmes, too, though counting him and Poirot opens the door to billions of detectives. Why not Dupin?})

Re: Detective/Intellectual showdown poll
Yeah, Heizo should also be in here, since he, like Yusaku, is more experienced than Heiji.
