but really, I'd probly send kazuha anyway, due to what everyone else has said, about having seen ran cook and kazuha not freak out over stupid stuff.

I would send Kazuha back in the boat, and have Ran stay to help with finding food and stuff like that.  Seems to be her specialty, cooking and all that.  Kazuha has that "take charge" type of persona, so she'd probably definitely get help, even if it's by force.  I couldn't see Ran doing that to someone in authority.

IMO, the one whom you think is more reliable is the one you must send away. But that's just me.

I'm a helpless person so I need a more reliable one to survive. And I think both are reliable enough to be sent away.

not to mention, considering you're expecting the one you send away is being sent away in a lifeboat, thousands of miles through the ocean, there's a pretty big chance they might straight up die on the journey, be it dehydration or drowning. So keeping the more dependable around is sorta like insurance if the other one never gets back.
